14kg Washing Capacity Eco-Power Inverter Motor PowerCare System Active Balance Technology Product Description H-WASH 500 is the extremely sturdy, reliable, and stylish washing machine that guarantees outstanding results and excellent care of fibres, giving them a longer lifespan, thanks to the Eco-Power Inverter Motor. H-WASH 500 is equipped with the new generation Eco-Power Inverter Motor, the most long-lasting and powerful belt technology available on the market. Forget your laundry labels! The exclusive Scan to Care function, available via the hOn App, allows you to create your virtual wardrobe. Just take a picture of your garment, and the App will collect and store all your clothes washing instructions, suggesting the specific programme and treatment to take care of them. This technology creates the perfect mix of water and detergent and expands it directly inside the drum so that it penetrates into the fibres, ensuring 20% better cleaning action. The new H-WASH 500, thanks to its motor, is more sensitive: it adapts the washing action to the load, ensuring the best results and 60% more efficiency. H-WASH 500 is featured by an advanced algorithm that calculates and auto-sets the most suitable programme, adapting detergent, water, and time according to fibres and load, guaranteeing improved efficiency with no waste. Hoover washing machine has a specific hygiene programme that is a sanitising washing cycle that maintains a 60C temperature for more than 20 minutes, allowing deep cleaning for your clothes and garments.

Quant a Hughes
After serving on the western front throughout the Great War, Frank Hughes trained as an electrical engineer before founding the business in Lowestoft, Suffolk, in 1921. Originally rewinding industrial electrical motors for Lowestoft's fishing fleet, Frank bought his first shop in 1928, where he built and sold radios while the family lived above. The business was incorporated in 1946, but the following year Frank passed away, leaving his children Peter, Phyllis and Jim to take over the management of the company. To this day, more than 100 years on, we remain a true family business with the third generation, with Robert and Jeremy Hughes, now at the helm. We were quick to embrace and introduce new technologies as they developed, such as televisions and labor-saving kitchen appliances. By renting these products, they became affordable for the typical household in the post-war austerity years. This early equipment was notoriously unreliable and the engineering background of the company meant that we were well placed to develop a large service infrastructure to repair them. Geographic expansion soon followed and we now have 19 stores and 5 service depots.
