Sorry for the inconvenience with the resoling of your clogs. It’s great to hear your cobbler was able to repair the clogs. I have gone back and read through your emails and photos with Natalia before the purchase and I believe she gave you the correct information and it should not have been a problem to resole the clogs with the soles you purchased. The PU outsoles are always much bigger than the wooden midsole so the cobbler should first glue the soles onto the wood. Then once properly dry, the excess of the PU soles should be sanded down. In your case the soles would lastly have needed to be died black. Customers are resoling clogs with local cobblers all the time without problems but perhaps your repair shop had some good reason why it was not possible in your case.
