Service rating : Getting Personal
1. Website needs to be looked at - I was processing purchase for these two items and got to the payment page and I then couldn't click on the payment type I wanted. That's why I then had to call to make order. And this was just before 2pm which is the deadline for next day deliveries. So I ended up missing it which was frustrating.
2. When I called the adviser I spoke to then said the chocolate bath set wasn't next day delivery... Even after I said that's what was appearing on the website. I did end up receiving the items the day after the following day which was next day (as my order was confirmed after 2pm). So it looks like adviser has incorrect info that doesn't match what's on the website.
In any case they need to make sure both are consistent.
3. The following day I noticed that the order confirmation email still hadn't come into my inbox. So I realised that I must have missed out part of my email address by accident when giving it over the phone. So I called to give the correct one.
After my address was edited on their system I received the email confirmation. BUT some of the wording that I'd specifically gone through with the adviser over the phone was confirmed incorrectly. So I had to call back AGAIN to ask that they correct this. Frustrating.
4. So I called again and explained situation to adviser. He said that he'd have to see if they could send me a replacement. I had to make it very clear that it was not what I'd asked for and I'd gone through the wording in detail so it wasn't my fault and I wasn't going to pay for it. He took the entire wording again and said he'd send me another one but he couldn't guarantee next day delivery. It's only after I hung up the phone that I thought to myself that the item was eligible for next day delivery AND I had spoken to him after 8am (way before 2pm deadline) so I have no idea what he was talking about.
5. In the end I did receive replacement notebook the following day which was great BUT he sent me an A4 one when I has ordered an A4 one. And he'd asked me the size again over the phone and I had said A5.
I ended up giving my friend both but it would have been great for her to have the correct wording on one small enough to fit into her handbag which is what I wanted.
What saves the company and makes this rating 'Good' is the quality of the products and the fact that I received them the day after - and by the Friday which wasy last day at work.Product: So cute and smells fab you almost want to eat it! Friend loved it.
Service rating : If you dont need to change your order , it's excellent , if you need to make a change .. Not the easiest thing to change any thing , I struggled to get into my page as it said error 3 times and I wasn't able to change my order even after email them about the change 3 hours after first order and trying to change it myself on my log in. I was trying to change the words on the glasses I ordered for my husband , but it wasn't possible as I couldn't get a hold of anyone by email or log inProduct: The card was ok
Service rating : I ordered 2 things which were supposed to be personalised and despatched within 24 hours. I ordered on 10th Feb as I wanted the gifts for my partner for Valentines Day. I chased up my order 3 times by phone. Each time I was assured they would get there on time. I sent 2 enquiry messages neither of which were answered. My parcel eventually arrived on 16th
Feb. Too late. I had to do a frantic supermarket dash to get a last minute gift. Buyer beware. Empty promises, late delivery, poor customer service.Product: Very narrow but good quality
Service rating : The quality of the gift was poor, you charged me £4.99 for next day delivery yet my item took over 5 days to be received after ordering. You also claim to offer Quidco incentives yet when I used the 10% cash back offer for new customers, you declined my transaction. I will not be using your website again and I wish only that you used my original feedback/review for posting on the website before deceiving other customers into what you claim to be a 5 star rates product. I'm not happy and you will not get my custom again after this!Product: I ordered this item for a special occasion, my dad's 70th birthday. I ordered the book and paid for 24hr delivery and paid the premium for the best leather cover available and embossed lettering. On receipt of the book nearly a week after my order was place, I was astonished at the quality of the book cover and lack of content. There was no more than 15 pages of what was blurry newspaper cuttings which quite frankly if I attempted to produce a book for £70, I would do a far better job than the one I received. I was embarrassed to give the book to my dad especially given the cost I paid on to have all the extras.
Service rating : I ordered my product under the understanding that I would get it before the date that I needed it (which was on the satirday and I ordered on the wednesday morning ), so I paid for 48 hr delivery which meant it should of arrived on the friday, it didnt. I have still given an excellent rating because of how quickly and efficiently they resolved the issue, they also refunded my delivery charge.Product: The message in a bottle looked great, exactly like the picture, the writing on the paper however, was not. The writing in my opinion was printed too small, it didnt fill the paper and looked too scrunched up on the top half of it.
Service rating : This was the first time I used "getting personal. Co.uk" and I have to say that I was very impressed. The personalised item I bought my partner was perfect! My partner loved it. :-) It was really easy to order it online, and the next day deliver that I chose was quick and on time for Valentine's day. Very stress free. Service rating : There was a very clear understanding that the product would be despatched in 24 hours after placing my order, so I placed it on the Tuesday for it to arrive for Valentines day on the Saturday. It didn't arrive till the following Monday as it was despatched after 3 days not within 24 hours. So from that aspect the service was poor. Just be honest from the outset and I wouldn't have minded, I don't like being misled.Product: I liked the product, it is a nice idea and the person I bought it for loved it. Thank you.
Service rating : I was very disappointed that I paid for 48 hour delivery but they item didn't show up for 5 days. This meant that I didn't have the items from when I needed them. This would put me off coming back to you. I'd like to think this was an exception but my work colleague ordered at the same time and paid for 24 hour. This didn't arrive for 4 days. When you pay for a premium you expect that service. Not very impressed.Product: Happy with item but they are listed as coasters? You would have to have very small glasses to fit on them. That being said I was never going to use them as they are more sentimental and for show, v happy with product :-) also I never selected to have it gift wrapped and it was gift wrapped and I was charged for the privilege.
Service rating : Getting Personal is the best company I have found foe service. The web site is easy to use for ordering cards when you want them personalised. The delivery is very, very good and they always keep you informed eg: when things have been despatched. I have a lot of trust in Getting Personal as I have had no problems and always good service. Well Done !!Product: I bought a card for my daughter and family as they moved home. It was nice to have it personalised, the quality of the card as always is very good. Delivery is quick.

I thought I had ordered too late to receive the item in time for grandsons birthday so was absolutely thrilled when iitem arrived on the day; thank you. Securely wrapped to avoid any breakages in transit and then packed in sturdy box. A truly happy experience, would highly recommend.Product: The quality and design of this bone china set far exceeded my expectations. I wanted something special for my grandson's first birthday, something that would be useful but that would be kept as a momento and I couldn't be more delighted. On a plain white background, the design is colourful and fun without being overly fussy and the pattern and lettering are clear and crisp. A truly lovely set.

The box was perfect for the three bottles of champagne I had for the happy couple. ( the bottles fitted exactly even though they were boxed already. Service rating : Great website, original gifts that can be very personal but I was unfortunately let down by the postage...... Paying nearly £4 for postage only to have it rammed through the letter box and creased/ bent in several places. My product was a Valentine's gift that couldn't be used.Product: Just as ordered, good quality and very reasonable.

Stephen was very helpful, especially when the product was found wanting. Getting Personal swiftly refunded me for the item which was much appreciated. Both staff an asset to company.Product: Very good quality shower head. Super concept, it would have been a fun product and a lovely Birthday present if it was compatible with our shower unit. Please ensure for future, that rate of water pressure needed to operate it is stated in bigger type! Purchasers need to know a power shower is needed. As mentioned, it's a brilliant concept and perhaps some modification could be made for it to function with non-power shower units. I would not hesitate to make another purchase if the spec. to operate it accommodated this. Thank you.

Questioned as to why this happened was told another 24 hrs needed for personalising gift ?
So that's 48 hrs.....but took 96+ hrs!
To add insult I tecieved an email on 13feb stating not too late for ordering Valentine's gifts for 14feb?!

You don't have a space for between Good and Poor so I chose Poor. The problem is that for a gift service they fail in an elementary manner. There is no way to tell the receiver who sent the gift!! My niece had to guess her engagement gift came from me. I complained about this and got the same stock I answer I got a couple of years back. I shall not be using them again unless they fix this problem.
Service rating : I ordered at the same time 3 items 16 days ago and all are supposed to be presents for my niece 1st birthday that was couple of days ago. I wanted to send this to her so I couldn't because I am still waiting for one more item. 2 items I received very quickly in two different days and 3rd item was dispatched together but didn't receive it yet.Product: I didn't receive it yet after more than 2 weeks so I can really rate it.

I was a little disappointed at the £5 charge for the gift box and was under the impression that my order would be with me by the 14th of feb, however I did leave it until a few days before valentines to order. part of my order was received in time.Product: I was disappointed and thought that the coasters would be a little larger, a mug is very unstable on them as the coasters are too small. They seem to be more ornamental.
