Your honest feedback is greatly appreciated. On our short 2 or 3 night city breaks and walks they do run with small groups as you have stated. Our guide Claire in Harrogate ensures everyone gets the most from the break and she is very knowledgeable on the area. Please do ask next time you book regarding the numbers booked / expected in a group, as many of our week long holidays would have between 8 - 20 people in a group. This four star hotel, spa and golf resort is one of our most popular hotels and I will let the manager know about your room - mistakes like this are not the norm.
