Rural isn't a problem! We used to have a house here,( Barcloy Rd) The problem is when a farmer is careless about where he spreads the muck! We had wellies ,etc.We couldn't walk kids or dogs on the local routes( down to the shore etc.) Not good !!!
excellent, cottage, every thing we needed. did not like compulsory bond,refundable one to expensive, so had to pay non refundable 20.00,this could have a effect on future bookings,we allways respect...

Thanks for lovely review of the house. The owners try to make sure everyone has a great stay, glad you had some sun to get outside - the outside chairs are shortly to be replaced.

One of the great things about Dalton Village is the "unexpected" Thai Restaurant just along the street from the cottage. Glad that you found it and that you enjoyed the cottage so much. Hope we can welcome you back before too long

Thanks for the great review and this is nice for the owners to get as they put lots of work into the cottage to make sure that it is just right for their guests.
First class service, as always. We have booked on many occasions with Discover Scotland and have always found them excellent. Like the idea that you can book and pay for everything on line.

Have booked through Discover Scotland for years. Never had a problem. All holiday let descriptions are accurate. Booking form simple to complete. Even send an email to remind when balance due.
