Absolutely one of my go to Aran yarns. I just love how silky smooth it is and how well it washes. It also is a delight to work with, never splits and rarely pills and in a great size ball too...

This yarn was pretty soft as promised, but absolutely awful for crochet- constantly splitting into strands. Might be okay for knitting but don’t have any experience of that

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you liked the softness of the yarn, but I'm sorry it was difficult to work with for crochet. As a possible solution, you might try using a larger hook to help prevent splitting. Also, since yarn is made up of several plies twisted together, it can sometimes split if you're working against the twist direction. Pulling from the opposite end of the yarn can help you work with the twist, which may reduce splitting. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope this helps! Easy pattern to follow if you convert the crochet stitches to English terms not American otherwise it will not work out. The pattern does not state this.
