As our Product Designer, you will be responsible for our core business competency of collecting the best feedback possible and displaying this in ever more innovative and engaging ways. As the customer purchase journey is evolving so must we, and by communicating with our consumers where they are, using the mediums they are already using, we will seamlessly integrate into their interactions with the clients we work with.

Responsibilities

  • Own the user experience of products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring existing products are meeting high standards of usability and accessibility for customers and new products are pushing the standards higher.
  • Identify the key design problems and build a strategic vision for the UX for your product area, keeping this long-term vision in mind so short-term fixes do not end up compromising long term design and UX quality.
  • Make sure the product is holistically designed. Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Feefo's products. Contribute to upholding the shared product design system.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gaining a deep understanding of their motivations and needs through persona mapping, and representing their needs in prioritisation sessions to manage the UX backlog.
  • Own the user research and testing function. Proactively solicit and provide feedback to raise our bar for quality continually, collaborating with product managers, data analysts and delivery teams.
  • Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple, elegant and grounded in a deep understanding of Feefo's customer needs, personas, and journeys whilst maintaining visual systems and standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of product design work experience in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Experience in building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features/products that encompass an end-to-end experience.
  • Interaction design skills that define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale.
  • Experience using prototyping skills to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.
  • Visual Design skills with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, colour, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.
  • Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking while developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact on people and the company.
