COQUN eye drops

COQUN® is indicated as a complementary treatment to antihypertensive glaucoma therapy counteracting the oxidative damages strictly related to this pathology.

COQUN® is a sterile, preservative-free eye drop containing Co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and Vitamin E TPGS, use 2 drops per day in each affected eye.

One of the key ways glaucoma presents is as a build-up of pressure in the eyes. There is evidence that the increased pressure in the eye of patients with glaucoma, stresses the retinal ganglion cells (RGCs). RGCs are nerve cells found in the retina at the back of the eye. These cells join to form the optic nerve which links to the brain. Damage to these cells can cause changes in vision and even potentially lead to blindness.

Once RGCs die due to the damage caused in glaucoma, they are not replaced. COQUN® helps to protect the RGCs by providing additional energy through CoQ10's antioxidant properties.

COQUN® is a complimentary treatment and NOT a replacement for the medication you have been prescribed by your eye doctor.
