Thank you for your feedback. The hooks in question are genuine Varivas hooks which as stated we buy in direct from the factory in Japan and then pack in our own packaging. Admittedly the packaging is not as posh as it could be but we prefer to offer quality product in economic packets rather than by charging extra to cover the additional costs by supplying a smart bit of branded packaging which just ends up in the bin!!

Awesome hooks, currently using for the tope, nice out turned eye, and good gape. Mean looking hook that sits well on a whole Mackerel. Again like all varivas hooks they are sharp strong and reliable.
