The pole is quite flimsy and not long enough for our pool, but on the upside it an be used for the hot tub

Thank you for your feedback on the Leaf Skim & Pole, they are designed for the smaller AGP's so if you do have a larger type you would be better off with the Inground Equipment Pole & Net, but like you say ideal for a spa.
