The order confirmation said despatch would be by the end of the following month. I was therefore not expecting next day delivery and only 3 of the 36 plug plants survived, so rather a waste of time...

Hand held plants are brilliant, did not lose any, with the small ones 10% survived, they dried up in transport

I'm very sorry that you were unhappy with the customer service you were given. Our agents are trained on the systems we use and will always offer advice where possible. Many are gardeners themselves. Leaving the clematis trussed up did not seem an option. the plants were tightly bound to the supporting stick with green tape. If left they would have become even more entangled.
