Colourful traditional Andean watanas, or ties, were used to show love to family members. They were tied into a daughter’s hair, draped onto brides and grooms outfits, etc... Colour: Turquoise/ Red, & Orange Peruvian Shaman Q'ero Inti Watana Beaded Pini. Each pini bead is an inti (sun) prayer. Hand made from sheep's wool using local natural dyes. Uses: Mesa / Mestana tie, tieing together the inner and outer worlds that represents within an medcine wheel altar. A symbol, offering/gift of the earth, (pachamama) and inti the sun connecting the paths between the worlds. Medicine or Despacho Tie. Necklace, wrist charm. Cut to lenght as required. Approx size: 1.2m x 8mm
