Enriched with tradtion and symbolic of area and type. The Peruvian Andes is the home of the Inka. Inka shamans that live high in the mountains above Cusco the Inka capital standing at 3500m above sea level. Chinchero is at a slightly higher altitude as it passes over into the Sacred Valley passing historic ceremonial sites on the way to Matchu Pitchu. The Qero shaman many of which have relocated down from 'Qeros' high up from Ausangate around 5500m above sea level. Ausangate the Sacred holy Mountain is one of 12 sacred mountains. Some see this as the masculine mountain and others as the masculine held by the earth mother. Its more domesticated, dynamic than perhaps the Sacred Feminine Mountain of Salkanty, which is known for its wild and un-domesticated appearance and feel and said to be the earth mother holding the the feminine mountain. The peoples are born and grow in these amazing unspoilt vistas that are beautiful and harsh at the same time.
