The symbols assigned to each type of incense indicate the ethereal nature of the special collections added to the respective blends and thus provide a reference to their magical qualities. Star Child creations are based on tradition and magic with intent. How do you use natural incense? Prepare a Heat Source: You'll need a heat-resistant container, such as an incense holder, or a charcoal burner specifically designed for resin incense. If you're using a charcoal burner, make sure it's on a stable surface and away from flammable materials. Charcoal Incense Disc: If you're using a charcoal burner, place a charcoal disc on the burner. Light the edge of the charcoal disc until it starts to spark and crackle. Allow it to fully ignite and turn gray. This process may take a few minutes. Add your particular Gum Resin Incense: Once the charcoal disc is fully ignited and has a layer of gray ash on top, you can start adding the myrrh resin. Use tongs or a spoon to place a small amount (usually a pinch or a few granules) of myrrh resin onto the hot charcoal. Enjoy the Aroma: As the incense resin heats up, it will release a fragrant smoke. Enjoy the calming and aromatic atmosphere created by the burning incense. Safety: Always exercise caution when working with burning materials. Keep the burner away from children and pets, and ensure good ventilation in the room. Allow the charcoal and resin to cool completely before disposing of any ashes. Myrrh incense, like frankincense, Copal, Sandalwood, all have a rich history of use in religious and spiritual rituals. It is also known for its potential therapeutic properties and is used in aromatherapy. EARTH-SPIRIT This incense is dedicated to the spiritual essence of Gaia, the very soul of creation itself. The spirit of the Earth is especially tangible at sacred sites around the world. In ancient times such magical places were used for ceremonies and rituals to celebrate the mysteries of creation. Burn this incense to tune into the universal Earth-Spirit or to ponder upon the deepest mysteries of existence. MERCURY ~ Communication, understanding, divination, flexibility, direct energy in accordance with will. SPIRIT ~ Undifferentiated spiritual source, the divine spark, all permeating cosmic energy, realm of the sacred. EARTH ~ Practicality, five senses, material world, sensuality, manifestation, prosperity, grounding. Our Magical Incense is designed for a range of common magical purposes and intentions. Remember though, that incense is merely a tool that helps to facilitate the workings of the practitioner, it is not a ‘magical potion’ in itself. Whilst it can assist focusing the mind on the task and help clear ethereal energy blockages, it won't do the work for you. Desired opportunities may arise - but it is still up to the practitioner to follow them up with appropriate action. Made from high quality ingredients. Sourced from individuals that hold ethics. Beautifully clean and light smelling. Uses: Cleanse space's and people. Celebrate specific aspects of life, the seasons & cycles. Use to lift an area or acknowledge loved ones. Burn using a self igniting charcoal disk in a fire proof bowl, dish or censer. Approx size of jar is 5cm x 5cm filled with the incense mix.
