We regret to hear that your tree hasn’t met expectations so far. At this time of year, many trees can appear dormant or “sleepy” as they focus energy on establishing their roots—especially after being replanted. Prunus 'Shogetsu' is a variety that flowers from April and May so is possible that they are still going to bloom. If you have concerns about the health of your tree, we recommend performing a small scratch test on the trunk of the tree. If you have any further concerns after the scratch test has been performed, please feel free to reach out to our customer services team with a photograph and we would be happy to advise further.
