8kg Load Capacity Eco option Anti-Rub Drum Quick Dry Cycle Product Description The Hotpoint H3D81WBUK 8kg Condenser Tumbler Dryer will have your clothes ready to wear in no time whilst also caring for them at the same time. The 8kg load capacity Anti-Rub Drum features a wavy drum pattern and paddles that creates a air cushion that gently lifts your laundry to reducing friction on your fabrics while also offering a suitable load size for most households. Thanks to the condenser design, your new Hotpoint Tumble Dryer collects the extracted moisture to a removable tank, and you can effortlessly empty it out once it is full. The Eco option allow you to dry with less power, to save power and money while the Quick Dry programme allows you to dry a smaller load with less time. Avoid the need for most ironing with the 10H CREASE CARE option. By giving your laundry a 10-hour Crease Care cycle after the end of your selected drying programmes your fabrics are kept soft in addition to preventing creases. For those in the household with allergies or have sensitive skin, the Hygiene Programme uses higher temperatures that allows you to remove bacteria and allergens from fabrics for greater safety and comfort. Thanks to the Sensor Dry system, intelligent sensors within the drum are able to monitor the moisture level as your laundry is dried and automatically stops once the selected dryness level is reached to save both time and money.

This machine is awful. It's way too loud, it makes you repeat an elaborate check every single time you use it. It feels flimsy and doesn't dry as well as our previous one! Grrrrr! It also never stops...

About Hughes
After serving on the western front throughout the Great War, Frank Hughes trained as an electrical engineer before founding the business in Lowestoft, Suffolk, in 1921. Originally rewinding industrial electrical motors for Lowestoft's fishing fleet, Frank bought his first shop in 1928, where he built and sold radios while the family lived above. The business was incorporated in 1946, but the following year Frank passed away, leaving his children Peter, Phyllis and Jim to take over the management of the company. To this day, more than 100 years on, we remain a true family business with the third generation, with Robert and Jeremy Hughes, now at the helm. We were quick to embrace and introduce new technologies as they developed, such as televisions and labor-saving kitchen appliances. By renting these products, they became affordable for the typical household in the post-war austerity years. This early equipment was notoriously unreliable and the engineering background of the company meant that we were well placed to develop a large service infrastructure to repair them. Geographic expansion soon followed and we now have 19 stores and 5 service depots.
