I purchased in April to gift in July and I’m beyond bummed to have spent more than a hundred dollars on something tarnished already. I do not recommend and am scrambling now to find another gift.

Thank you for your feedback! Sometimes the precious metals we use in our jewelry can tarnish if left exposed to still-air for an extended period. Our gift boxes are not air-tight so it could have tarnished a bit from sitting for a couple of months. I'm sorry about that! The nice thing about sterling silver and gold-filled metals, is that they can be brought back to their original shine and luster with a light polishing. We provide a free polishing pad with your order to help you remove tarnish if it happens. The tarnish can be easily rubbed off with the pad. So I hope you will try that to get it looking new again.
