It sounds like you had a holiday that will be hard to beat - the Serengeti, Crater and Zanzibar! Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is such a stunning place to celebrate your birthday - we're glad the weather was good enough to give you great views for a while before the clouds rolled in. We're sorry the tse-tse flies bothered you! The only good thing about tse-tse flies is that they protect the wilderness from human encroachment by making it impossible for cattle to live there, but they can be very irritating on a game drive. It's wonderful to hear that you plan to come back to Africa and explore the southern gems - Mozambique is a real treasure!
