The delivery required my signature for some reason and therefore couldn't be left with a neighbour. Why? These are just umbrellas.

The couriers standard service does require a signature, however our service agreement allows them to leave the parcel in a suitable location, if they consider it to be safe and secure. We are able to add delivery instructions for the courier, and should you decide to order with us in future please provide the suitable instructions and we will ensure these are passed on.
