Bought the Fortis 8X42 binoculars. Used them for the first time at the weekend and happy with the purchase. They fell within my budget and do the job.

I'm using this braid as hooklink material for catfishing. It's cheaper than the "specialist" catfishing braid and more tightly woven, which means it doesn't ruck when nicked by the baiting needle.
