Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus) is a native, deciduous species, so your plants will have lost their leaves during autumn and will have arrived looking rather sorry for themselves. They will burst back into leaf again and will produce white flowers in spring and will eventually produce berries. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon.
