Faces of Feefo: Hannah Thistleton
In this week's Faces of Feefo, we speak to our Support Team Leader, Hannah Thistleton.
How long have you been working at Feefo?
Just over 18 months.
What’s a typical day for you at Feefo?
I’m the Team Leader for our Support Team, so my day can be a mixture of providing coaching and training to the team as well as dealing with customer queries from all different channels including phone calls, emails/tickets and live chat! I’m also involved in a few different projects around the business, one of which is a recognition project which ensures that everyone in our department is recognised and rewarded for all the hard work they do on a day-to-day basis.
What’s the best customer experience you’ve ever received?
I love my food, and one of my favourite things is halloumi. My local chip shop was recently taken over by new owners, so I went to check it out and asked if they offered halloumi. Unfortunately, they didn’t so I went ahead and placed my order and popped to the shop next door. By the time I got back, they’d been on the phone to their supplier and had ordered some halloumi and told me to come back the following week. I did so, and they’d got the halloumi in and cooked up a batch for me to try, for free, on the basis I would go back and let them know how it was as it was the first time they’d ever cooked it. I loved this as they really went out their way to ensure I got everything I wanted, but also were open to feedback on how to improve their food going forwards. I’d never go anywhere else now!
What do you do when you’re not in the office?
Much unlike most of my other colleagues, I have to admit I’m a bit of a couch potato and love nothing more than relaxing at home binge-watching a good Netflix series or getting my head stuck in a book. I’ve also got two gorgeous nephews that I love spending time with.
What’s the best thing about working at Feefo?
I love the fact that Feefo feels like one big family and there’s such a vibrant culture here. We also have a unique location (a dairy farm!) which although it’s a bit pongy in the summer months, it’s lovely to look out the window across the fields, and also to be just a short walk from a beautiful lake. The free food and drink is pretty good too!
