I did order the item next day delivery and the item was not delivered on the Saturday, so I had to drive 6 miles out of town to collect the item from the depot so a little dissapointed. This is compounded that 100g of items costing £5 to ship and I had to collect the item at my convenience.

The problem was really with the delivery company which is employed by reef dreams, had an email saying delivery would happen any time from 9am-7pm so took day off no delivery happened was not in for next delivery , you can imagine how important salt is which led to diluted water and I actually lost coral.

The delivery was delayed by UPS beyond our control, for which we can only apologise. It was delivered the very next day and left with a neighbour as you were out.

However I fail to understand how a delayed delivery of salt could lead to diluted water?? The salinity level in a marine aquarium will remain constant or rise slightly due to evaporation, which should be compensated by topping up with fresh RO water. The only way the salinity could fall is if YOU added fresh water and diluted it, killing the coral!

Although online shopping with Reefdreams is easy and the delivery is very fast indeed the shop is also well worth a visit. They have a simply stunning stock of corals ranging from small softs and frags that cost a few pounds to large and/or rare specimens for the larger budget and larger tank. As well as a healthy stock of all the usual reefkeeping paraphernalia (reactors, test kits, treatments etc) they also keep a nice selection of the usual and not so usual fish. All in all, whether online or in person a great place to shop.
