Founded by Holly Tucker and Sophie Cornish in April 2006, the site was created because of their passion for the gorgeous little shops who couldn't afford to sell on the high street, but were making unique carefully made items for gifts or for the home that were simply adorable. They felt these businesses needed introducing to a larger market. notonthehighstreet.com has no warehouse, each seller retains their own identity with an online storefront and they send out the products themselves. In terms of service received, this was excellent. I had not added a second bead despite requesting extra writing and notonthehightstreet.com called a few times to check my order and amend it. When clarified, the item was received promptly. The lady that called was very friendly and polite.

Men's Personalised Life Beads Bracelet

I was really disappointed with the product for the price paid. I couldnt return it because the item was personalised and the website states you can't return personalised items. I wish I could attach a photo to show you just how poor and cheap it looks. The bead looks more like aluminium steel than silver. The band material isn't very good and had already started to fray just 1 week after being worn. I bought this gift as a present for my boyfriend's birthday . When I told him the price he laughed and said whilst the sentiment of the gift was nice, it really wasn't worth the price I paid.
