First of all, we're delighted that you like the product. However, we are sorry that the product did not come exactly as described on the website. As we mentioned the product had been refreshed for the new season and we hadn't updated the content on the page. This has now been rectified and we also double-checked all other products too.

Product rating : Sorry but we are quite disappointed with the quality after only 1 fire. We followed instructions carefully and only had a small fire to begin with. The outside has gone very black already and some of the paint has begun to chip off. The fire itself was good but the chiminea looks like we've used it several times.

Thank you for your comment about the delivery. We do try to ensure that all orders arrive quickly.

Great that you've used the chiminea and enjoyed a good fire. But, yes, once fired clay chimineas will blacken around the mouth and funnel to varying degrees dependent on the fuel used and the size of the fire. Paint can also peel but can be easily touched up with a little water based paint.

Service rating : We ordered and the delivery was incredibly fast. There was 1 item missing and when contacted to confirm whether it was en route, we got fast responses and they sent out an extra lot of logs. Really impressed!
Product rating : Good although having constructed it then had a cold snap, there were a couple of screws on the ground and despite the cover on there were some rust marks. Works brilliantly though and both these things are sortable.

We were sent the wrong order. As this was a Christmas present that was extremely disappointing.
E-mail correspondence was poor with it taking up to two days for e-mails to be returned.
It therefore took two weeks before a date was arranged for collection.
The arranged pick-up time was missed for the goods to be exchanged.
Some complementary additional logs that were supposed to come as a gesture of good will still have not arrived.
Overall, a terrible experience and even though the product is good, the service means i will not be recommending you to anyone else.

I'm delighted you like the product but am very sorry about the trouble you had with your order, especially as it was meant as a gift.

Unfortunately, a combination of errors in the warehouse and by the courier - coupled with the adverse weather - meant that we were not able to provide you with the high levels of customer service that you should have expected.

The snow also meant we suffered a delay with the resupply of the logs which has now been resolved which we should have communicated to you. This complimentary item has been sent on to you now and you should receive them in a couple of days.

I hope you take our apology as genuinely sincere and that you can see from the other feedback given by our customers that this was an exceptional case, and that hopefully you may consider shopping with us again in the future.
