Quick delivery partially stymied by having to go to the post office to pick it up. A shame an item that would fit in our letterbox had to be taken away & be collected despite its relatively low value and safe keeping inside our home had it been delivered. Worth giving some thought to a different delivery method for the lower value items you ship.

Nicely weighted and balanced, too (both posted and unposted). It does take more turns than expected to unscrew the cap from the barrel, but the tactile feel is so solid and precise.

The SEF nib, which would have been my preference, and which is readily available in the US, is not available in the UK or, perhaps, Europe. I bought some jet black Diamine ink from you at the time and wanted to try it out before committing to buy the composer set. Needless to say, your recommendation was good, but the thing that really impressed me with the Diamine ink was that it didn't break down into it's component colours as is the case with inks such as Quink and Waterman when painted onto wet paper - I know that's not the recommended use, but as an artist, I like to experiment with the media available. Notwithstanding all that, the Daimine ink also works well in my pens....... It was the worst choice that I have ever made in my life.I ended up sending it back once, I was told that the pen nib and something in it has been repaired and it will be sent to me only after testing it,i received it back and my husband had the same problems with it,even worse.it stops in the middle of writing just a few sentences,blots the ink,dries up and you have to shake it hard to get it going which ended up with ink stains on my husbands shirt. I asked my husband to return it there and then but as it was a birthday gift,he wanted to give it another try. He tried all the possible solutions that were recommended over the internet,I wish I had read about flow problems reported by people for this pen. At last he ended up contacting the director of supplies for this rubbish pen in UK who advised him to send it back to her and She will send it to Italy and they will try to repair it,which by the way costed me another 7 pound for the postage and we will have to pay 12 pound for postage to Italy if the pen is repaired! All in all,I would never ever recommend Visconti to anybody as this is the worst pen ever! My husband recently got a Parker now which is working perfectly!!
