Service rating : Excellent contact information via email. Easy to understand.Product: Lack of staff in bar - non existent sometimes. Lack of staff in restaurant, could never find a clean table. Could smell tobacco smoke and could hear clearly talking from next door room. How this hotel got four star rating will never know. This was never a superior room as we thought it would be. Will not be returning.
Service rating : I was very satisfied with the quality of service. There was only one glitch when an email with flight check in details and Hotel voucher failed to arrive but one phone call sorted it all out.Product: Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean room which was a reasonable size with a tiny balcony on the third floor which was a welcome suprise in a city centre. The hotel was in a good location for exploring the city with the hop on hop off bus stop just opposite. We only hand three days/ 2 nights to explore so the location was ideal.
Service rating : Just as promisedProduct: The hotel was very good. It is comfortable and very close to the centre of Bruges. The restaurant is not open for evening meals but the breakfasts are excellent. All the staff I dealt with were extremely efficient, friendly and cheerful.
Loved the service apart from, we missed our flight out as I was very sick, we bought a single flight out to Croatia then needed help with finding out what had happened to our original return and what our options were, after calling you numerous times you basically were no help and showed very little interest in helping us, I felt totally stranded! it's like once we'd bought the holiday that was that.
Service rating : Voyage Privee did a good job, The only disappointment was the hotel.Product: It was good value for money but the accommodation was not great. the bed was very uncomfortable and I am suprised it was a 4 star hotel.
Service rating : Had problems trying to get through to someone over the phone to make the booking with split payment. Found that the phone just rang and rang and eventually just cutting out. Saying that when I got through I had a very helpful guy sort the holiday for me quickly and efficientlyProduct: A good hotel but a couple of areas to improve, cleaning staff need to be a little more constant as sometimes we found things being missed such as clean glasses being provided, towels not being changed when they are left in the bathtub as requested by the hotel and in some cases bath matts and towel not appearing at all. Room service (or the alternative ordering from a nearby takeaway) was confusing and I wasn't best pleased with the €70 bill for the minibar even though we never touched it. Other than these little niggles it was a lovely hotel in a beautiful location.
Service rating : Everything was smoothly progressed - more than satisfactory.Product: All amenities as expected, although room was smaller than preferred.
Service rating : Very helpful and professionalProduct: Hotel was a bit tired, we were put into the Residents building, although the room/suit was spacious and nice we felt remote from the Hotel. We had to use a very old lift and go out of high security doors, walk up the road and then go into the hotel. The area we were in had exposed electrical wires which could easily given electric shock. The breakfast was limited, if you did not get there for the 1st hour of serving there was no hot food available as they did not replenish the hot plate.
The hotel is central but its at least 25 mins walk to the square to catch any buses and metro.

Service rating : There are many genuine discounts to be had. However, on this holiday, VP failed to send an accommodation voucher, which caused a delay at check in and, had we not checked with the airline VP had allocated us, we would have turned up at the airport with hold baggage not pre-booked, resulting in delay and further expense.Product: Simply superb, but only a very small balcony.
Service rating : After some confusion with a name change I spoke to one very helpful member of staff who went out of his way to sort everything out.Product: Accommodation is clean and comfortable and spacious. Most of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. (Reception and the male server in the restaurant deserve a special mention) However the staff using the pool during the day was a bit off putting especially as it was a small pool, some of them were clearly put out when they actually had to work! The area around the hotel was very special and we will definitely be looking to return in the future.
Service rating : Easy to use, prompt emails detailing travel documentation.Product: Great Location but accomodation a disappointment. The offer included 'free upgrade to junior suite' and 'box of belgian chocolates on arrival'. I don't think our room was a junior suite as it did not have a separate living area as described on their website. The room was not relaxing and the layout was poor and the 2 chairs faced the door! The bathroom was not good in many ways (poor shower, poor lighting), the toiletries of a poor standard and the room/bathroom not clean enough! Breakfast was average. The box of chocolates consisted of '2' chocolates! Great location though!

Service excellent, gorgeous sea-view room, food/wines/bars/restaurants all excellent, towels/linens/bathrobes all superior quality. Pool and garden area is beautiful, really well maintained and the large area gives the impression of very few other guests!
The staff at this hotel are amazing... nothing is too much trouble, every need is catered for. Every single staff member in every department is super efficient and seemed eager to play their part in creating a warm, friendly, welcoming environment for guests.
A really excellent hotel, we cannot wait to return.

However, when we arrived we were given room 5057 this is situated on the ground floor, corner room. Due to the ground being high in the corner, the room was gloomy and smelt of damp. My husband suffers with acute asthma and next day we were moved, howver this meant we were no longer next to our children. I would strongly recommend that this room is not allocated. This is not a cheap hotel and it does no favours. Especially to a person who is highly asmatic.
