Service rating : As a frequent visitor to the hotel, I was once again very happy to be there and to have such an excellent reception from the front staff - so friendly and will do anything to help.. All staff are super - I am not just a guest but someone they care about. the meals were absolutely excellent... the chef is doing the right thing,. and the breakfast bar has improved.. wonderful walk around the grounds. Must not forget the Clocktower for lunch where again the staff are so friendly.Product rating : Love the spa area and spend most of my time there, as that is really why I go to Tre Ysgawen... to relax and swim... I also have a beauty treatment... and as always I enjoy it, but would like the hotel to have more luxurious treatment rooms.. Take a visit to the spa at the Quay in Deganwy where I go frequently.

Service rating : I had written you a letter but decided against sending it. It contained the reason why I couldn't tick the "excellent" box which was the pebbles on the outside area. Due to a recent ankle injury walking on the pebbles left me in pain for a week. They also ruined my shoes by scraping the leather on the heels. I felt I needed to tell you so that if you decided to do something it could prevent anyone else damaging a pair of designer shoes. Excellent hotel, facilities, staff and service. Will definately visit again and recommend to friends.
Good not excellent because - check in was not very welcoming or helpful and also on one evening when we were eating in the Clock Tower restaurant; two people sat and ate a meal in their spa robes and slippers and then went back to the spa. Everyone in the restaurant was 'gob-smacked'. !!
some noise disturbance tho if you are staying in the downstairs rooms opposite the ladies' changing room - the noise comes from people using the door to get to the upstairs rooms.

Despite being the only two people in the dining room for breakfast, we waited 30 minutes for a boiled egg and scrambled eggs on toast. I thought this was very slow.
The service was excellent. Polite and friendly staff in reception, bar and restaurant. The food was wonderful and rooms very comfortable.

If you want to use your stay just to rejuvenate swimming getting your fitness back on track and detoxing you could, the salt therapy spa is exceptional. The facilities are spotless and well run. The food is superb with a good choice of menu. Definitely will return��
