Faulty item - replacement requested. Had to chase replacement; refund subsequently given without explanation

It does seem that the item was never received back with us, when you chased up with us we refunded you for this item as a goodwill gesture from ourselves, we would have liked to have replaced the item for you unfortunately the item was at that time out of stock.
We will always do all that we can to resolve any problems/quires that you have.
