Service rating : Very very friendly and helpful. Always polite and professional.Product rating : The diamond ring was perfect. I wasn't sure what clarity to choose SI1 was significantly cheaper but I was concerned that it would not guarantee it being eye clean so had been considering paying for VS2 to be sure. Fortunately when I spoke to them they informed me that they check the diamond to make sure it is eye clean and that they would let me know if the diamond I ordered would not be eye clean. I know it might not seem like a big issue but it gave me confidence when buying online and meant I could afford a bigger diamond (something my fiancé is very happy about). We are both very happy with the beautiful ring.

Service rating : We had been recommended Steven Stones by a friend and had looked at about 10 other jewellers before coming to Stones. Stones were simply head and shoulders above the other jewellers in terms of value for money, friendliness, their helpful attitude and overall service.Product rating : We asked Stones if they would design an engagement ring using diamonds from a relative's heirloom. We wanted it to be modern whilst retaining the original character of diamonds, a task which appeared quite tricky. We were delighted with new the ring, in fact it surpassed all our expectations and my fiance is constantly admiring it, even some 6 months later!

Service rating : The company called us following a query for a slightly different designed item to that listed on their website. They discussed our requirements and promptly emailed the information. The placement of an order was seamless and we had correspondance during the time the item was being made. Overall this gave us a high degree of confidence in purchasing the high cost item.Product rating : The ring was exactly as we had hoped following early discussions. The ring was sent in secure packaging and contained all the documentation.
Service rating : Overall the service was excellent from Steven Stone. The pre-ordering consultation was excellent and they listened very carefully to my requirements and then produced a ring that was exactly what I was after. They were clear with the delivery timescales and had the ring ready on the day I required it. I would have scored excellent apart from one thing. I had asked for the ring I ordered to have a message engraved on the inside. This was no problem at the time of ordering however a few days before I was due to collect the ring I was contacted to say that it would be ready except for the engraving that would require more time. I was told I could take it and then return it for the engraving but I felt very disappointed by this. After applying some pressure, Steven Stone were able to have the engraving done in time and the ring was ready for collection exactly how I ordered it but I would have preferred never to have the worry.Product rating : The bespoke ring I ordered was beautiful and turned out just the way I wanted it however since collecting it, there are a couple of things that I am going to ask them to rectify when I get the chance to revisit them. 1. The main stone is sitting ever so slightly angled to one side. It is hardly noticeable without close inspection but I picked it up very quickly and it bothers me whenever I look at it. 2. There is a very small area on the band, underneath the area where the main stone sits that requires a polish and appears darker than the rest of the platinum (which gleams). I'm sure this will be easy to fix when it goes in for a service. These are really quite minor niggle and overall I would thoroughly recommend Steven Stone Jewellers to everybody.
