  • Our flowers are the equivalent of A-list celebrities: gorgeous, desirable and boasting a longer shelf life than their contemporaries. Sourced from the finest suppliers around the country, they're groomed with fastidious care, fashioned to perfection and elegantly transported to their destination in the shortest possible time. And Serenata Flowers have got staying power, too: the impact they create when they arrive means that you won't be quickly forgotten.

The flowers were ordered on Thursday, 26th July and clearly indicated that delivery would take place on Friday, 27th July. As the flowers had not been delivered, I telephoned Serenata on Saturday, 28th July. Reluctantly, I accepted a complimentary upgrade for delivery on Monday, 30th July. Although the recipient was at home, two boxes (the original order and the upgrade) were left in her front garden. The recipient had heard no knock on her door and only found the flowers when another caller knocked in the early afternoon.

Serenata explained that the depot had received a message from the recipient that the flowers were to be held in the depot. I pointed out that not only had the recipient not made such a call but that she was totally unaware that flowers were being sent to her! Furthermore, she wouldn't have known who to call anyway!

The flowers (especially the fresh upgrade) were in excellent condition and much appreciated by the recipient. Unfortunately, appalling arrangements for delivery ruined what was intended to be a surprise for someone who had been unwell.
