The flowers I have ordered arrived in good order and were appreciated by my girlfrend. My interactions with Serenata Flowers since then have been poor to be honest. I have tried 2 or 3 times recently to order flowers again to the same address and am told simply that this is not possible during the Olympic period, with no further explanation given.
I am extremely disappointed by this, as I am sure that as a company that offers products that are tied into emotions, Serenata can appreciate that any failure or poor customer service has a large emotional impact on their customers and their loved ones. What I had liked about the marketing and communications I received from Serenata was that they seemed to appreciate this. I have found that the processes and the way I have been treated do not fit with this.
I have also written a complaint through the company's website and have received no response whatsoever. This complaint is due to the fact that I keep receiving enticing offers from Serenata flowers which when I spend my valuable time trying to take advantage of I am told that I cannot during the olympic period. There is not reason as to why not, nor any suggestion that the offers and treatments that other customers are given will be made available to me on the same basis in the future. I do not think this is good customer service, nor fair treatment of Serenata flowers' customers.
Hopefully I will get some response through a here as it will (I presume) be raised to a 3rd party and therefore brought to their attention. The original order I made had the booking number Q3410533. Serenata should be able to use this to find my contact details - I look forward to receiving a phone call or email from them.
