Both times I have used New generation I have had excellent instructors and small groups. The instructors have made me a better skier, whilst always challenging the instructors have always ensured all in the group are comfortable with the lesson and slopes being tackled. Would chose New Generation over other companies because of the experience I have had with yourselves.
I booked the technical clinic lessons with Gareth and found them a great help in improving my skiing.
I also had a free lesson earlier in the week, organised through the ski and snowboard magazine with Richard and that was very helpful too and gave me things to work on throughout the holiday.
All in all for me it confirms why I will return to book lessons with new gen, thank you.
Brilliant tuition for our family of 4 having only been ski-ing once before. Our instructor (Davide) was always thorough in his explanation and made it fun..helping us every step of the way with getting on lifts etc.. we felt we all were more confident after our 2 days lessons and would have no hesitation in booking again next year if we are lucky enough to head back to the slopes. Thanks :)
I can't really express enough how enjoyable our lessons were. We had fun and learnt so much, even when one of us was struggling our instructor was awesome in every way! Thank you
We were a group of 15 !! 8 beginners, 5 kids between 4-7 years old and 2 intermediate skiers and the instructors at Ski New Gen REALLY amazed us with their attitude and knowledge! Andrea and Rich who were with the kids really outdid themselves - we all now love to ski more and will surely return to the French Alps thanks to Ski New Gen!
The instructors were really friendly. We had Marco for our 7 yr old girl (Mackenzi) and Richard for Us (Meribel). They were very knowledgeable and Mackenzi really looked forward to her lesson. We also saw her improve day by day. The size of her class was also excellent. Only 3!!!!
They didn't call back when they said they would but the lesson was excellent.
We thought Mike in Meribel was an excellent ski instructor. He listened to our requirements and enabled our 2 children to progress in 3 days much more than we had expected. Will definitely look to use New Generation again.
We had an very good experience with New Gen, just like last year. However, we were a bit concerned about the class sizes and the make-up of the classes – my class (level 3) was over the advertised maximum number of participants and also contained people from a wide range of abilities and with a surprisingly large range of experiences. My friends in level 5 had similar feedback.
I was in a beginner's ski school with Jimmy. He is an excellent teacher. He was friendly and encouraging and brought on all members of the group - making the learning of a challenging skill both fun and satisfying. He had a remarkable ability to remember all our names and he was very patient yet he ensured we all made good progress. I would hope to be able to join another class with Jimmy if we are able to return next year and would highly recommend him as a trainer.
I didn't book my younger children's lessons with New Gen due to the time/length of the lessons, (we wanted 3hr lessons) but I wish I had because when I watched the various New Gen instructors on the slopes, they looked to be doing a lot more 'teaching' than the school we went with. Therefore, when we decided to book a 2hr private lesson for our older son, we didn't hesitate to book a lesson with Blair. The girl we spoke to at your office was REALLY helpful and my son said the lesson was great and the de-brief that Blair gave us about Jack was very detailed and clear. I would definately use New Gen again because I genuinely think our 2 younger children would have made more progress with New Gen than they did.
Level 4 lesson, only 5 pupils, only 1 of whom could ski to level 4. This was not the fault of the instructor though and the lessons were excellent in spite of the varied levels involved.
My boyfriend and I spent the season in Montchavin and attended a clinic, private lessons, and race camp run by New Generation, all with Ally as our instructor. We were really impressed with the level of service and quality of teaching we received which far surpassed anything we had in various other lessons over the last 6 years. In particularly Ally was very good at explaining how and why to do certain things whilst skiing, which we found really helped us to improve. We'll definitely do future lessons with New Gen.
Booked a private lesson with Andy H out of Courchevel 1850 following a previous group lesson from when he taught me and the group how to ski!
There were 3 of us in the lesson all of differing abilities. Following a quick introduction and briefing we were off.
Andy accommodated all of our requirements exceptionally well which really proved useful to all of us. The conditions on the day were trying, especially on the last chair and the near white-out conditions though this did not stop Andy's professionalism.
Overall, we all enjoyed the lesson, took things away which we continued to practice whilst we were skiing and look forward to further lessons with Andy in the future and hope he continues to contract through New Generation.
I had Lynn for an adult beginner's week and she was excellent. I would certainly recommend New Generation.
Two very nervous skiers in our party were looked after brilliantly and given enormous confidence by Steve - thank you so much for making their holiday!
Ali in Les Arcs was excellent, will definitely use NewGen again.
I really appreciated Adam's adapting to the challenging conditions
I would also be most interested in any off piste groups sessions next season - preferably out of St. Martin or, at least if elsewhere, at a time it is possible ot ski over from St. Martin
I would also particularly like to praise Luke as a ski instructor.
Massive thanks to Gavin and Melanie Crosby! We have gone back to Serre Chevalier for four years in a row due to Gavin's exceptional tuition, and Melanie's huge help with organising everything to do with our holiday.
The Sims family.
This is the second time that I have used New Gen for my children and again they had a great week. Previously we have had Jimmy, this time with Dougie and Jo and all were good fun and professional. I always recommend them to others.
This was the first time we had used Ski Generation and before we left for France we had had weeks from the 2 boys (aged 13 and 11) of why do we have to go to ski school? We know how to ski? It's boring etc. etc.
We returned on Easter Saturday having had a fairly bad week of weather - lots of low cloud and snow. Not once did my children moan about going out and would have spent the entire day in ski school. They had the best time in the Bombers group and in our opinion progressed more than they ever have in a week, despite the hard conditions.
We had a wonderful week in Val D'isere. Only one small space for improvement, in kids ski school we think it would be good if you provided a snack and drink at break. But the tuition was superb!
In our first week we booked lessons with the ESF in Courchevel 1850 but were disappointed.
By contrast New Generation were excellent and Andrea was brilliant with the kids.
We hope to return to Courchevel next year and will certainly be booking with NG
Thanks Andrea and to all the helpful staff I spoke to on the phone!
Well balanced and engaging, thank you
Brilliant instructor (Joe) who was able to quickly assess my level and develop my skiing accordingly. I was able to ski at the same level as my friends with only a few days of lessons. Made my holiday that much better! Thanks!
