The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Ignoring the low prices and the arbitrary decisions always to the vendors detriment (that's business), it is their appalling level of communication that is most frustrating. I have sent repeated emails without the courtesy of a reply (even to acknowledge receipt but now know they received them!) Having also sent a number of orders (perhaps that's my stupidity!) items that i know are in perfect working order when they left me have been written off in their favour with no more information or details available - very frustrating and largely compounds my perception of their (perhaps?) incompetence I would like to think rather than deception? I would like proof though - do the CDs and DVDs that are in perfect order that their cataloging rejects also end up in their items to sell on as well?
Simple, straightforward and kept up to date as to what stage the process has reached.
It was easy to use. It took quite a while for the cheque to come through, but other than that is was an easy way to clear out some old CD's and DVD'S

Efficient service with several emails from collection to posting of cheque to keep me informed. Clear and straight forward instructions on how to box and lable items. Dissapointed with price of CD's though - all less than 30p, so for 45 CD's sold I had £12.08..better than continuing to gather dust, but some weren't even opended and of current artists. I would hope Music Magpie could revise their criteria, and consider this in their assessment of price in the future. Would consider using Music Magpie again.
It was easy to use. It took quite a while for the cheque to come through, but other than that is was an easy way to clear out some old CD's and kids DVD's.
Good Service, though i found it quite sad parting with CD's that cost me £20 for 25p :-(,,i don't suppose anybody else would want them. I got rid of about 30-40 Cd's that I would never have listened too again and have been sat there for years and got cheque for £16 so cant complain or I wouldn't have done it!! They don't buy singles though which is a shame
It was a month between you picking up my items and me receiving the cheque for them; I notice from feedback that you repeatedly tell other people you are working within guideline time limits but this is a long time! also, I do think you could give a better price for items - certainly for mine which were all in excellent condition. 30p per film DVD is rubbish! Unfortunately, since most of your clients are extremely hard up (they would not be selling DVDs otherwise) they have no option but to accept your poor offers. I'm hoping you will soon have some competition and will therefore offer better prices. Good marks for keeping people informed though - except for the week or so after your email telling me the "ink was drying on my cheque" and my actually receiving it. And I suppose a little money is better than no money.
Great service - kept fully informed at every stage of the sale. Local drop-off so much more convenient than Royal Mail.

Easy to use, used my iPhone to scan UPC codes from CDs, printed out instructions and mailing label, dropped off at local UPS, and within 2 weeks had my check.

Remembering, of course that you don't have to take any effort in selling on your goodies, they are a reasonable service to use.
I like the volume of products Music Magpie take however the prices offered were a bit low for some products. Collection was when told and I was updated throughout the process. Cheque was a little slow to come through but again was informed as it was being processed and sent.
