A smart,robust product.However it did not perform to expectations
on initial testings.As explained in earlier email,it seemed happiest
skipping across the top of the soil surface and gave no confidence
that it would ever be able to operate at its stated optimum working
depth of 26cms.I really wanted this to work but it proved so disappointing.

Hi sorry to hear you were disappointed with the tiller. We have had great success with this model - it is our top seller and feedback has been excellent. Are you perhaps trying to use the machine on turf or grass, which it is not designed to do as this type of soil is heavily compacted. It is meant for soil that is "in use", such as veg plots, allotments, flowerbeds etc. As with all electric tillers (and most small petrol machines), you need to allow the machine to dig itself down by standing still to let it do its work. It may well bounce a little before it gets hold and then you should find it works well.
