Service rating : No problems booking but webpage description of the room totally incorrect and as such contravenes the Misrepresentation Act 1967.Product rating : Whilst the accommodation was good we would not have booked this hotel had the description by Lastcheck.co.uk been accurate. Their description for the Delfin Azure rooms states: The completely renovated rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, fridge, coffee/tea maker, an iron and a safe. According to the hotel management the rooms do not/and never have had a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge or iron. The hotel management were kind enough to supply us with a fridge and kettle but my Wife had to purchase a hairdryer. Having made contact with Lastcheck about this it would seem obvious to date that they do not intend to change the incorrect information as at the time of writing this (19th May 2013) the site still shows the incorrect descriptions for these rooms despite being informed that it would be changed twelve days ago. The matter is going to be pursued through the Misrepresentations Act 1967 and also Visa under the relevant credit consumer act. Having spoken at length with the hotel management they made contact with Lastcheck as they are worried about so many people especially in peak season requesting the facilities as stated by Lastcheck. If you have booked this hotel then print off the hotel room description from the Lastcheck site and present it to the hotel on arrival. Finally, the hotel has recently changed hands from Stiles to BQ.

I can't even put into words how amazing this holiday has been, as a young couple we were catered for everything you could possibly imagine. There are people holidaying here from all over the globe, of all ages and with amazing staff who can speak in all languages and who deliver the utmost service day in day out, it was perfect.

Service rating : The booking was easyProduct rating : The hotel was not helpfull upon arrival we had a broken curtain in the bed room after 5 times of asking they fixed it it says you get you bed changed every 2 days after 6 days I asked why it hadn't been done so they said they would do it but they didn't they just made the bed that then took another 7 times of asking before they actually changed it the food was very limited and not very good and the taxi driver was dangerous on the way to the hotel it was an awful holiday and you are located in the middle of no where I would not recommend

Service rating : I was not sure if I had paid or not and needed to call to confirm. Paperwork was not sent out.Product rating : Staff are amazing, from cleaners to receptionists, kind, helpful and friendly a team they can be really proud of. Location is as close to the dunes as you will get, relatively quiet, surrounded by other quality hotels and bungalows, pool and gardens are more than adequate. My apartment was large, sunny and clean. The feel though is tired and run down. Furniture is shabby and antiquated. The mattress and pillows were really uncomfortable and bedding and towels felt old and well used. This put quite a dampener on my stay as I found it really hard to sleep, stay asleep and overcome the aching back in the morning. Also lacked plug sockets, has only a pay portable tv, no kettle, toaster or microwave. Ok if you are out most of the time-bad news if you get stuck in with the weather or just need to sleep well without sedation.

My wife ended up in hospital due to a fall caused by a faulty a/c unit leaking condensate on which my wife slipped after we just moved from a room that stank of sewage. After returning from hospital at which we had spent the night and half the next day we were told the the fault had been fixed but the same happened again and yet again a third time. We moved to another room which was eventually made functional except that the a/c would intermittently trip the electricity supply. We didn't tell them about this as we didn't want to move to a fourth room! I complained continually about the buffet food being cold to the Executive Chef, the Restaurant Manger, the Customer Relations Manager, and the General Manger and highlighted the health hazard and only on our last day (following a 14 night stay) did they solve the problem. The fish was always inadequately cooked and mostly raw. Vegetable dishes were only marked up as such and frequently if not mostly contained meat. Vegetarians beware! Everywhere except for the Lobby was poorly maintained with trip hazards everywhere. Unaccompanied female guest related many stories of sexual harassment form some staff. Our transfer from the airport on arrival by MTS did not happen and following expensive international mobile calls we were transferred after being at the airport for one and half hours. The MTS Rep left a message at Reception that he would meet us at 10:30 the next day. He didn't turn up! He put a note through our door the same evening even though we were in the room saying if we didn't see him at 10:30 the next day we would need to make our own arrangements to transfer to the airport when leaving. As we were leaving at 07:50 the next day to go Scuba Diving we never did see him. The only positive think is that most of the staff are very friendly and helpful and deserve better from their managers. And one last think one of the Reception Clerks has a habit of telling you that your credit card doesn't work no matter how many cards you present to him and that you need to pay by cash. It's not true as I told the Customer Relation Manager of the problem and he was immediately able to make the card work. Most of the guests are unhappy but unfortunately suffer in silence. I would have paid not to go to this resort. Lastcheck what are you doing to see that the resorts you make available are of an acceptable standard? I will be interested to see if Lastcheck come back to me regarding this feedback. Any tour company that continues to list this resort are a disgrace.

Service rating : the only problem i have is with getting my hotel voucher and im not sure if its Last Checks problem or aol everything else is spot on and weve never ever had any problems with Last CheckProduct rating : We love this hotel as its so peaceful and quiet the rooms are spotless the staff are all very nice and helpful the food is alright nothing to write home about but for what ppl pay they shouldnt complain.The hotel grounds are lovely and the pool is very nice although a tad cold, it is mostly adults that use this hotel although i have took my niece with me you get the odd child but not many.There ia also plenty of sunbeds for everyone thers not much in the way of entertainment at night,they have parrot show, snake show and wild birds also they have karaoke nights bingo and quizzes if your looking for a chilled out holiday with peace quiet and glorious sunshine this is the place 2 go.
