Whilst we thought we knew what to expect from previous vivits to Africa, Gambia was a very pleasant surprise. The standard of the hotel was first class and the level of service delivered by the local staff was way above expectation. All of the local Gambian's that we met were very friendly and it was obvious why the area is known as the smiling coast. We would have no hesitation in going back again and again.
