You sent me out a damaged item and i tried to rectify it with a call to customer services and i was met with an abrupt " send it back". You make some lovely clothing and you charge for it, your market is high end, shame your customer services isnt.

Service rating : Service is still OK but not as good as it used to be. I ticked the online box requesting colour samples of sea island cotton. Ten days later I rang to ask why I hadn't received them. Answer: 'we haven't got round to it yet'. I asked for more information on colours to help me choose and the response was helpful enough for me to decide to order, although the delay meant one colour I was interested in was no longer in stock in my size, so I could have only one jumper instead of two. Not good for me, but a missed order for JS. I asked if I could place an order there and then with the person I was speaking to. Answer,' no, you've got to order online'. That's not good customer service, John Smedley. There are still many people without internet access. Don't you want their business? I've ticked 'good' above, as service wasn't poor and delivery was prompt but I'd have prefered it if there was a box to tick for 'indifferent'. Better staff training needed maybe? It's a shame to let your wonderful products down this way.
Product rating : I've been buying John Smedley Sea Island Cotton Polo neck jumpers for many years and love them. Excellent quality. They're essentials in my wardrobe.

Product rating : Product was nice but it was not what my husband wanted - he prefers slim fit items so I have returned it

John Smedley products are excellent but they are labouring under a dreadful website. I use an Apple Mac - surely not unusual these days? - and I experience many problems, from items not showing on screen to an inability to access my account. I have raised these issues several times with the company and whilst the staff are apologetic and seem to be trying their best with it, I find this aspect of the service a real let down.
