As you can see below is a snap from Facebook site of other dissatisfied customers you need to get this right as many are being put off by your delivery and customer service, I don't have anything negative to say about the quality of clothing, however size 12 is more like size 14 the shoulders hang so have had to send back to exchange for smaller size, I had to call about my order as I had no confirmation that it had even gone through, overall poor service but beautiful clothes it's about the right balance and you will lose customers as bad reputation sticks.

Email Gift Voucher (W)

I ordered a gift voucher to be delivered by email for Christmas. Unlike other retailers I've used where the system delivers the voucher by return, this doesn't happen with Joe Browns. However there is nothing to warn you of this before you buy. I tried phoning but customer service was closed for Christmas, although when I put something on the JB Facebook page I got a call back very quickly. The person who called said that as they were closed for Christmas they couldn't send the voucher. I pointed out that as the online shop was open and taking people's money with technicians in work to support the system they weren't closed but she refused to accept that they were actually open. We agreed to disagree but of course, with the mass of retail opportunities open to me elsewhere, I won't be shopping there again. It's not so much the undelivered voucher as the aggressively defensive response and their belief that they have the right to take my money and sit on it for two days without delivering something which should have gone to the recipient by return.

Chic And Stylish Jacket Plum (12)

Whilst the service of Joe Browns itself was excellent, I have rated 'poor' due to the service provided by the delivery company Hermes.
I received a message on a Thursday saying my item was out for delivery. The next message I received stated that 'delivery attempt failed' and my item would be redelivered the following day. I have no idea where delivery was attempted but it certainly wasn't to my address. I was in all day.
I then had to change my plans to wait in on the Friday, I kept a check on the Tracking status and it again said 'out for delivery'. At lunchtime this suddenly changed to 'parcel left in secure entrance'! I live in a first floor flat with an entryphone system. At no point on either the Thursday or Friday did my entryphone system ring. Having gone down to the main entrance my parcel had literally been chucked on the floor of the lobby just inside the door. If Hermes call themselves a 'delivery' company then they should at least attempt to deliver the items in a correct manner.

Email Gift Voucher (W)

Excellent service in that a very pleasant email was sent quite quickly to deal with my query. and a follow on email as well
The online ordering method for gift vouchers was quite confusing for a first time buyer. Asking for the recipient's email address seemed to imply that this might be needed in order to validate the voucher. As I had wished to buy a surprise voucher as a birthday present I had not wanted to put the recipient's email in that box but felt that I had to and the FAQ could not help me. In the end unfortunately the gift voucher did arrive by email to my sister before her birthday and without the surprise element.Perhaps you could insert a one line statement saying that if one does not want the voucher to be emailed directly to the recipient please write in one's own email and that one can then print it off for use whenever.

Mystical Enchantment Longline Jacket Check (12)

Having to return the jacket I bought in April as the seams split (which I feel was due to the open weave nature of the fabric on part of the jacket). I received a friendly and helpful response in the form of a returns label being sent straight away. As the jacket was no longer in stock I was advised of a refund or an alternative jacket. I requested another style of jacket on my returns letter, as it was £5 more expensive I said I was quite prepared to pay the extra cost. However, a few days later I received a phone call to explain my new jacket was on its way and the extra cost had been wavered as a good will gesture. The new jacket arrived a few days later beautifully packaged as usual. This is what I call customer service at its best. Thank you Joe Browns.

Cute And Sassy Shoe Boots Purple (6)

As a French resident, my initial parcel was shipped to France. Unfortunately, the parcel received was empty... obviously, someone else liked the boots I had ordered... Joe Brown was very receptive and reactive. They shipped a replacement parcel to me using a different carrier, which I recieved within 48hours.
J'ai commandé chez Joe Brown une paire de bottes, à livrer en France où je réside. Malheureusement, le premier colis était vide... quelqu'un à la Poste française a dû se servir au passage... Joe Brown a été très réceptif et réactif; un colis de remplacement m'a été envoyé en 48H. Bravo pour un SAV au top !

Kaleidoscope Poncho Multi (One Size)

The service was very good. My only concern was that when looking at the item before Christmas, I was notified that stock was limited, so although I was going to wait until after Christmas to buy it, I ordered immediately so as not to miss getting it. Within a few days the same item was advertised and at a reduced price, which would have saved me £12! As the item was not urgent, I felt annoyed that your words had urged me to order earlier than I needed to and cost me £12 more than I needed to pay. If it had been urgent I could accept this, but it was not, so I felt aggrieved at this. In future I would risk a loss for a non urgent item.

I have been buying clothes from Joe Brown's for years and they never fail to impress. The clothes are of great quality and of funky design. If I want to dress to impress its Joe Brown's all the way. Their customer service representatives are second to none. Not once have I ever received a negative or can't be bothered attitude. They are super friendly, extremly professional and if I have ever had any issues(which has only happened a couple of times in all the years I have been ordering from them) they address it straight away and get things done. I love Joe Brown's from the clothes to their team. I will be a life long customer.

I have no problem with Joe Browns, it was the courier 'Hermes' that let them down. They claimed to have attempted to deliver my parcel 3 times and then took it back to Joe Browns. I was in every time they 'claimed' to have attempted delivery and they did not call. After ringing Joe Browns they eventually 'found' stock of a sold out item and used UPS on a next day delivery (at my request). My order arrived by 10am the next day. If I hadn't have rung and hadn't have insisted on a proper courier, I would never have got my order. Not the sort of hassle you need at the start of a new year. Joe Browns - please don't use Hermes as they don't deliver!

I am very disappointed with the service I received on this order. I made the order on 28th December and it wasn't processed until I sent 3 emails and 1 telephone call on the high January. I appreciate it was a busy time with the sale going on, but if you have a sale you should make arrangements to bring in more staff to cover the busy time. They didn't have time to email me back, but still sent lots of emails everyday to advertise the sale. The clothing didn't come in time for me to wear it to the event I was hoping to wear it to. I have not experienced this bad service from Joe browns before.

My order was placed, but it took over 10 days to be processed - I didn't get any notification of the stages of my order - just from ordering just after Christmas, to having it delivered in the first week of January. I was even worried that the order hadn't gone through properly as the website hung when I was making my payment. I had to write to your customer help desk to see if the order had worked, and what the status was. I got an apology, but for a first time customer I was sadly not impressed. When I shop on other online sites I know far more information about the status of my order - so I think you need to improve this system. Many thanks for taking my views into account.

As has happened before, hermes failed to deliver this Joe Browns parcel. They made no attempt to deliver it - just returned it to JB. I believe this is a problem with an individual driver who doesn't like coming down our drive, although other couriers deliver all the time. I contacted JB and the response really could not have been better. A replacement order was sent with UPS and arrived immediately. So the initial delivery performance was BAD, but everything else was Excellent!

Parcel took a long time to be dispatched & then disappeared, meaning I never got my order as Hermes pretended to deliver it but actually parcel went missing. It was meant to be a birthday present so really unfortunate this got lost and couldnt be replaced as it was a sale item. Joe Browns customer service was very good and helped to try and recover the parcel and allowed me full refund or alternative courier for an alternative item so the feedback only really relates to Hermes but unfortunately their terrible service has reflected badly on online ordering from Joe Browns

Postal Gift Voucher (W)

i ordered a gift voucher. i had an email to say it had been despatched and when to expect it. i did not receive it within that time so contact customer services. they were very helpful, both emailing and ringing me and offered to send a new one straight away. however, i received the item the next day so contacted them to say so. royal mail delivery was very slow in the run up to xmas - no fault on your part. excellent, friendly service. thank you.

Everything was fantastic, even return of a product I changed my mind about was smooth and straightforward - I am in love with Joe Brows now! I was surprised to be charged postage considering most companies do free delivery on orders over a certain value and as it was a fairly large order I wasn't impressed to be charged for delivery but returns were free which was good and in line with expectations and my order did arrive promptly - thank you!

I finally received my jacket nearly 2 weeks after order. I had ordered it for New Years eve but had to wear something different as it didn't arrive. in time due to a glitch with the address. Customer service were excellent and sorted it for me., however, the delivery service not so good. Hermes had my full address (eventually) and still decided to leave it at an alternative address. luckily I tracked it down and got hold of it (2miiles away!)

I am a first time customer with Joe Browns and must say I am very impressed with the service and prompt delivery. This is the second item I ordered. The first item I ordered was not available even though at the time of ordering it showed that it was. I had a long, very apologetic email explaining why I had not received my first item, something that doesn't happen with other companies. Thank you, Joe Browns, much appreciated.

Took a wee while between ordering and delivery, thought it would have been faster as the items were in stock. Caused a slight problem with my bank account, as payment sat in my pending transactions for a while, then when the payment did eventually get taken, there were reduced funds in my account. Not your problem but mine really, however, payment would have been better taken upon ordering then problem wouldn't have arisen.

Very slow to process my order this time around. I have ordered from Joe Browns in the past and the dispatch has been almost immediate. On this occasion, the order was still processing for over a week. Meanwhile, I continued to receive marketing emails, including a money off voucher that I was unable to use as the order had already been placed. I wouldn't usually mind the delay, but I had ordered some items specifically for a working trip, and they didn't arrive in time.

Having used Joe Brown lots of times before the service and products were as always exceptional. However on this occasion, the delivery was very slow and although it was dispatched in a reasonable time was very late ( over a week from dispatch)to be delivered, only just arriving before Christmas. Just as I was about to contact Joe Brown it arrived with apologies from the young lad saying it had been left at someone's house waiting for delivery and he had had to collect it to get it delivered. The package stank of cigarette smoke( although the items inside were fine)

I ended up ordering two of the same coat, and though I immediately cancelled one an email arrived to say both items had already been dispatched. My husband handed the duplicate parcel back to the Hermes delivery driver and he took it away and sent it back. Lo and behold, it turned up again two days later. We are currently trying to contact him to collect it for return again. I have contacted Joe Browns for a refund, because this should already have been arranged.

Had to return 2 items but this will be the start of something as my usual shop is debenhams, do return stuff if it does not suit or fit.
I might have, not might have just discovered youre brand that will allow me to have few very suitable items wwhich will be long lasting saving me the large amount I spend per year.

Our Favourite Dress Red (8)

I live in Spain and yet both orders have arrived incredibly quickly... the first order had to be returned as the item was too large! Again an extremely efficient reply and refund! I particularly like the fact that I was kept up to date over the returns process by email; i.e.; when my notification of return was received, when the returned item was received and when the refund was paid as this prevented any worrying on my part. I will definitely use Joe Browns again and would recommend to others.

I am and always have been pleased with the products that I have purchased from JB However, on my last order I was disappointed by the quality of the delivery. Instead of the delivery agent knocking on my front door ( I was in and expecting it ) the package was dumped on the drive in front of my garage, where it could have been picked up by any passer by. Fortunately it was spotted by a visitor. Whilst I appreciate that this delivery was being made in the last few days prior to Christmas, a very busy time, nevertheless this is not good practice.

Joe Browns clothes are unique. Whenever I have worn a Joe Browns item, it always commented on. They arrive well packaged and promptly and if they unfortunately do not fit or are unsuitable, free returns are swiftly dealt with and a refund issued. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who may feel reluctant to buy online in this way. Excellent company to deal with.
