Generally I would say after my first & second order, I was pretty pleased. Came though quickly, ease of ordering, quality of clothes etc, but on my third order, it could have been better. I ordered 2 items to make the delivery charge worthwhile, but after the transaction (not before), it told me one item was no longer available. I called up straight away to check, and was told it was no longer in stock. In the circumstances I asked if either the other item could be refunded or the delivery charge waived, given this was something beyond my control, but I felt the gentleman on the other end of the line was going out of his way to be unhelpful and kept saying there was nothing he could do, even though I called immediately after email confirmation came through. The answer I got was the order had already been picked - so in the 2 mins from my submitting the order, my order was picked and ready to send.... a blatant lie clearly. Given this was only my third order with Joe Brown, sadly it is likely to be my last. I don't deal with those types of people.

Check Me Out Trousers Blue (34/32)

I receieved my order and the trousers where missing the button to do them up and as i was wearing them a button fell of the back. I then went through a really lengthy series of emails with a customer service agent who didn't seem to understand or be sympathetic to the situation. The item was duff, no problem, send me a new one, but really; the customer service was awful. eventually yesterday a man turned up to pick the parcel up but seeing as I was still waiting for information from JB CS (including when the item was going to be collected) I had not packaged up the item. Luckily we know this particular driver from other deliveries and he kindly came back and picked it up later once I was able to get it sorted. When I phone the customer service line to sort this out the agent (different from the email person) was unsympathetic and not particularly helpful. I'm a big JB fan, have many of their products (as do a lot of friends and family who I have brought for or recommended) and this is first time I've had any problem but it was so bad I hope I never have to deal with them directly again.

Burnished Vintage Tie Shoes Black/Red (5)

I usually love Joe Browns and, ironically, had recently sent them an email commenting on their excellent customer service - a little prematurely as it turned out! One of the pairs of shoes I'd ordered (Burnished Vintage Tie Shoes Black/Red) had to be returned, so did the replacement pair, and the replacement for the replacement. The coating on the first pair was peeling, the second pair were scuffed/marked and the third pair were again peeling. On top of that the heel tip came off the other pair of shoes I'd purchased (Tweedy with a Twist). It took several emails and phone calls to try and resolve this and resulted in a refund for the Burnished shoes and me having to pay to have the Tweedy shoes (which I loved and for which there was no replacement available in my size) repaired out of my own pocket. I was offered a £10 voucher by way of apology but refused it as using it would have cost me £4.95 in postage! There was a reluctance to deal with the issues in writing which needlessly prolonged the situation. Very frustrating!

My order was dispatched very quickly. Call center also helped me very well.
The only problem I had is with their website.
1. Impossible to see when size or item will be back in stock. Sometimes items disappear(item was not found after refreshing a page) and appear again after couple of days.
2. The second one is relevant only for customers who lives outside EU. VAT can only be received after making an order. It means after making an order you should write an email or call. But sometimes Joe Browns charges you faster than someone answers your mail. In addition a price on the package will include full price including VAT. In some countries taxes must be paid when purchasing amount is bigger than allowed amount in this country. It was really nice if VAT was removed in a basket before order completion.

Road Holder Jacket Red (42/44)

Decent website. Item arrived well packed in perfect condition. On the downside, I feel like I'm being ripped off when I get charged a fiver for delivery at the checkout for a two hundred quid jacket. I used the free delivery voucher on the catalogue which is a faff and feels gimmicky. Delivery also took five working days and the item was in stock. EBay and Amazon are far better by comparison. Also, I last used Joe browns a few years ago and had to set up an account with a password which I was expected to remember. Either launch an app, or just let people buy things. Passwords are very annoying for irregular use.

Very pleased with what I ordered, very good quality, quick delivery. My one grumble would be you don't seem to cater for shorter ladies (I am 5ft 1" tall) I notice the models are all 5ft 8", if I wanted to order a dress with a pattern near the hem I wouldn't be able to have it altered, trousers also are not in shorter leg lengths
i.e: 27". Please remember we are not ALL very tall, and most retailers sell clothes for the 5ft to 5ft 3" heights. I wouldn't order a tunic if what I really wanted was a dress! Otherwise I love the designs - you could sell more if you were a bit more flexible about peoples different heights. Thanks Janet

Afternoon Tea Jacket Brown Multi (16)

Delivery service is very good and prompt. There's only been one occasion when I've had to wait three weeks for an item and this was due to it being sent on the wrong delivery van but this was rectifyed by customer services contacting me and sending me another one the next day. The customer service staff are very helpful and polite and when they say they will contact you back the following day, they really do which is very refreshing. The garments themselves are lovely and my new coat is so comfortable I will definitely buy more things in the future.

I find the service excellent. I particularly like the return policy . I like the fact that I can return the product with little trouble and it does not cost me extra. It encourages me to purchase a product and to try it for size. The facility whereby I can print the label with all the details in it is a great facility. I just attach the label to the parcel and away with it. This is very important because I find that sometimes when the skirt has an elastic waistband the size 16 suffices. Generally I take a size 18 skirt if there is a zip on it.

This was a replacement. Customer service was very good. We could either return the bigger size and then wait for JB to send out the replacement or we could pay for the replacement and await a refund once original jacket returned to them. We opted to pay for 2nd and have a refund. The replacement was received quickly. I have also received an email advising JB have received the returned item and a refund has been actioned. Nice not to be left in the dark about the returned item and about the refund. Thank you JB. Excellent service all round.

The ordering process was simple, the delivery was swift. HOWEVER, your delivery service was disappointing. I arrived home to find a card from Hermes saying just "Meter" (whereas the safe place specified for previous Hermes deliveries was "behind blue-lidded bin). I eventually found the parcel in the locked Gas meter box on the house wall. I am not happy that anyone should have a key enabling them to cram a large-ish parcel into a meter box containing critical components and which should be treated with care.

Normally I would never score the company like this as I have been a customer of joe browns for years and love everything I have bought however recently I find that when I receive a catalogue there is nothing in my size or only 1 part of a suit in my size, this I find unacceptable, why send marketing literature if you do not have the relevant items to provide your customers with?? The velvet skirt I bought on this occasion should have went with a jacket to match however I now find I have to try and find something to match the skirt as the jacket was no longer available on the same day I received your brochure!!! Please sort this out how browns or you will lose customers

Fabulous And Flattering Tunic Multi (12)

I ordered a tunic which I really liked, but didn't fit properly in my normal size. I decided I liked it enough to request a replacement in the next size up. The website showed there were plenty of sizes available at that time. 10 days after I returned it I enquired about non-delivery of the replacement (which was dealt with very promptly). Unfortunately, by then there were none available to replace it with! I'd seen the notice explaining that this is a busy time (post-Christmas sales period). I think a 10-day delay for a replacement item is unacceptable.

My garment that I bought was faulty, and this could not be exchanged for another one due to being out of stock. I was then refunded the money of the item without being asked if I wanted something else.
The delivery charge was not refunded, so I paid for an item to be delivered that I have not got.
I did question this, and was asked to call in to Joe Browns and speak to someone to have this refunded.
I am very disappointed with this service. I have been a customer for a few years now, and am very unhappy with how this has been handled. Definitely could have been done a lot better.

The order was shipped in good time, was correct and good service from Joe Browns, but very disappointed that they have chosen to use myHermes, not at all in keeping with the good quality service I have come to expect from Joe Browns. Fortunately I happened to be in to receive the delivery as this company have on multiple occasions caused damage to my property delivering "to a safe place" when I've been out. I love the clothes but will have to shop elsewhere if they continue to use myHermes to deliver.

arrived on the stated day I was told would be delivered, I was most pleased to see the wrapping was plain and no Joe Brown stamped on it as this was a surprise for my wife and she knew nothing of my order and she took delivery from the courier. I sais it was not for me but a surprise for her. Needless to say, she was elated to see not one top but two.. lucky lady. Must say the styling and quality of all Joe Browns clothing is exelent.

I had ordered previously and returned a couple of items (jackets) - the process was so quick and easy. I would not hesitate to order from Joe Browns - to 'try' something - because they were so nice when I said 'it just doesn't feel right'. So rather than have a jacket in my wardrobe that I never wear I ordered another one - the Funky Check - and have enjoyed wearing that. Really good service - and a great sales service too.

Hermes sent me an email on a Friday to say that the. Parcel had been successfully delivered which was not true. I then worried that it had been delivered to a wrong address. Tried to contact Hermes- could only by email. Rang yourselves. Next day got a very stroppy driver who delivered the dress and through gritted teeth apologise d . Probably not her fault; too much deliveries and not enough time. I wasn't worried about when it was to be delivered. Just don't send me an email saying it had been successfully delivered when it had not. Won't be ordering from Joe browns again.

Very quick delivery within a few days of ordering. No hassle - e-mails to confirm dispatch, courier receiving parcel and then delivery notification. I have bought from Joe Browns for many years - I thought the last couple of years that the quality of clothes - materials used, how items sewn together, finishing - had gone down slightly, but this recent order of four items were all of good quality and nicely made.

Great shirts, very good quality,innovative designs. My husband loves them! Great service, staff very efficient and helpful. Keep designing unique mens clothes.

The Womens side is a little disappointing for my personal taste - too flowery and patterned not very sharp seems to target one type of women:( I wouldn't wear them. If you did a womens version of your mens shirt range, I would buy and wear them.

Very quick processing of my order and I had email updates quite often, which was really good. The delivery courier used was not the best - I didn't get an estimated time of delivery and they delivered when I was at work, which is fine, however, they left my parcel outside of my house, in broad daylight for everyone to see. Luckily nothing had happened to it by the time I got to it, but it could have.

I had my eye on this dress for months, couldn't afford the full price and waited patiently, checking daily, for the item to be discounted in the sales. On the day the dress went on sale, I immediately placed an order in my size. I had been checking the website daily for many weeks waiting for this moment. I was so excited. Imagine my feeling of overwhelming disappointment when the package finally arrived, and inside was the wrong item! I called Joe Browns straight away and of course my size in the correct dress was sold out. Not good.

Had to contact your company by phone after waiting two weeks for delivery of item after being notified the item was in stock .According to customer services it was because I paid by cheque and had to wait ten days for the cheque to clear .I was surprised by this as I thought cheques were cleared in three days ?.
Also with other companies this has not been a delaying problem .

I love Joe Brown clothes. Totally different in style, more designer than street, except the material used explains the difference. My husband bought the last two dresses for me. The black dress I have not tried on yet, but I prefer fitted. Had a fab jacket for Christmas, plaid, fur collar, fitted, love these items, so cool. Like the mix of different fabrics, different coloured buttons, threads etc. Packing and delivery very good, no complaints, keep up the good work.

The order process and everything to do with Joe Browns was excellent. The delivery was awful. The dress was left in my recycle box at the front of the house. The delivery person did not knock, he just dropped the parcel in the box which had water in the bottom, put a card through the door and left. Last time I had a delivery he shoved the blouse through the letterbox without knocking! Hermes, not good. :(

I wrongly ordered £50 email gift vouchers but wanted card vouchers.
So I tried to delete the email vouchers but it wouldn't let me delete them.
So I changed it to £5 email vouchers and order £50 card vouchers instead.
But then I received via email 2 vouchers - one for £5 and one for £50. Very annoying! I phoned to complain but got no joy - didn't send me the £50 card voucher or anything as compensation.
