Excellent in theory, very reasonable pricing and clear layout of site. Sometimes difficult to speak to our solicitor on urgent matters. Updates rather sporadic.
In-deed were excellent. The portal ensured we were kept up to date at every step and being able to download and upload our details and information meant we could turn enquiries around really quickly with no delays due to post. The site also meant that we knew what information we needed to get ready and where we were in the buying and selling process - with always a real person at the end of the phone if we needed to speak to out solicitor. I would definitely recommend them and would definitely use them again should we move or buy / sell any other properties.
The online portal made it easy to keep track of the progress. The messaging service made it easy to stay in touch. However, our conveyancer, *PERSONAL DATA REMOVED BY DATA* did not read our messages properly and lost several of the documents we sent. It was claimed not to have received some of the documents, despite a previous message on the portal saying they had been received! We would often ask two or more questions per email, yet only receive a response to one. We would then have to ask the question again in a new message. This made some aspects of the process drag on for longer than they should have done, which did nothing to appease our worries as first time buyers. I think the price we paid is fair in the scheme of things and I probably would use them again. I would just request a different solicitor to look after us!
They provided a very, very good service. Only one thing has prevented me from giving them a rating of excellent and that was dealt with quickly when it was discovered.

Very good service all delivered as they promised with no surprises.05-Apr-2013Very satisfied with the service, however I think it would be helpful if the various forms sent for completion could be completed on-line and those not requiring a signature could then be sent back via the system, those requiring a signature could be completed on-line then printed and sent in the post thus enabling easy saving of the documents by the client.

Overall I was impressed with the online tool for immediate access to updates and information for my house purchase. One area for improvement would be for telephone calls to be handled more professionally. I often had to chase my solicitor by phone. Also when my call was handled by the office members, they would keep me hanging as they were trying to find my file and sometimes did not understand my requests properly. Even so, I would recommend both this service and conveyancer to others. Thanks for all your help and efforts. Regards Panna

it has been some weeks since the final move from my house. I have only just been able to unpack my computer, and I wanted to say 'thank you' to the In-Deed team for their help and support. During the period of selling and purchasing I kept a diary of how using 'In-Deed' worked, down to querks of using the website. Although I have some criticisms I would use In-Deed again, and recommend it to my computer savvy friends. Its not yet there for people like my parents (in the 80's...).
