One wrong product sent but this was rectified immediately. Phone contact hit and miss (reasonably polite, especially the delivery organiser, but I was then called by the main number in error when someone else was wanted). Delivery was ok, though I was promised goods in the morning and had to chase by phone after noon. I was also surprised at how many of the products were pre-frozen, not what I'd expect from a premium food maker and retailer.

1 x Emmett's Hams - Black Sliced 250g Sves 4-6

But the normal cure ham sent in error was very good

1 x H. Forman & Son Gravadlax - Chef's Dill Gravadlax 200g Serves 4

Delicious - surprised at the lack of salt, and there was a predominance of star anise which overpowered the dill, but the product was overall delicate and tasty

1 x Fresh Taramasalata - 225g Serves 3-5

Really superb - didn't realise it came in a kilner jar, which will be handy to keep and reuse

1 x Dorset Knob Biscuits - Dorset Knob Biscuits 400g, 1 tin

Got it more for the tin!

1 x Organic Walnut Sourdough Bread - 500g

A bit dry and not very special - none of the sour taste I expect from sourdough, or chewy crust, but instead a crumbly crumb. I would choose a rating a bit more positive than poor, but there's no choice between 'good' and 'poor' (and 'poor' and 'bad' are almost the same thing …)

1 x Cornish Pasties - Prime Steak Cornish Pasties 2x250g

Could do with more steak, but a nice overall pasty with good pastry of the right amount

1 x Rose Veal (Frozen) - Osso Bucco 600g/Serves 2

1 x Cooked & Sliced Three Bird Roast - 2 slices Serves 2-4

2 x Rhug Estate Organic Hot Pies - Aberdeen Angus Steak & Ale Pie, Serves 1

Filling a bit dry but rich pastry
