Thank you for your comments. We are reviewing shelf life for all products and where possible we will extend. Unfortunately however, some fresh products are just not suitable for long keeping.

Thank you for your comments Mr Boyle. We will be in touch directly regarding the wild salmon. There's been no change in recipe or salt content, but there are rare occasions when a side of wild can take on too much salt in the curing process so it may be that you unfortunately received one of those.

Main problem was the short "best before" dates. Order was to cover entertaining during the Christmas - New Year period but death dates were 22 Dec. (Have frozen various items.)

Delivery arrived a day later than specified -- even though I ordered a month prior with only one acceptable delivery date. Required multiple phone calls to F&F, and ultimately a change in my plans to accommodate delivery.

My previous experience with F&F was that I could confidently place an order, get delivery on-time, and not worry about the quality of the products. My experience this time is that I need to worry about both -- on that basis, it's just not worth spending this much money and I will direct the bulk, if not all, of my attentions elsewhere next Christmas.
