Works a treat! Had two timers which went kerput so decided to use daylight instead. Works fantastically...but will probably have to put up with Bertie crowing at 4 am in the morning by the middle of June.
Does the job beautifully, though we've had to put a clear cover over the sensor to keep off the snow. This was done using the bottom half of a 500ml water bottle stapled on to the top of the chook house - simples!
Our vsb automatic door had developed a fault after a number of years and I spoke to a very helpful chap at Flyte so Fancy. I purchased a replacement light sensor and the girls are shut in safely at night and more importantly up early in the morning - problem solved! Thanks!
