Hens happy, easy to use & right height for them. Difficult to fill as my water outdoors is at other end of the garden & 20 litres is heavy! Biggest issue is keeping it clean: debris from beaks gathers in plate at bottom & only way to clear is to lift off water & tip while lot onto ground, making it muddy so their beaks & feet get dirty. Wish I'd got different model now.

It appears well designed and is considerably more sable than my previous model in our windy environment. The broad legs and feet prevent it sinking in the current soft ground conditions as my previous one had so the hard standing is not as essential

Great stocky drinker
Keeps water feeder from the floor avoiding mud splashing in this wet weather. Easy to just tip out any grubby water and allow clean to run into the feed base.
very sturdy large capacitity drinker which although raised off the ground can accumilate deposits from hens beaks which owing to the crater style catchment bowl are not easily tipped out , if not impossible if you have a full drinker in the 20 ltr plus capacities. I will probably stick to the bell drinkers in the future as when these accumilate food or other matter it is easier to simply tip it to one side to clear it.
Excellent water drinker,chickens bit unsure of it at first now fine. Best poultry drinker we have had.Would recomend this to enyone.

Seem to be having a lot of problems with this. I thought it would save me having to refill the drinker every day but the bottom drinking tray is very difficult to put in place and the slightest moving makes it come back out, resulting in all the water running out. Also it just seems to keep on letting the water come out, I thought it was supposed to stop when it reached the level of the holes in the down pipe but seems to just keep going till it runs out of water. Received a very helpful phonecall regarding my dis-satisfaction with an item which has sorted the problem.Product rating : It would appear that I have rated this item unfairly - after a very helpful phonecall to see if they could help it would appear that I didn't realise that you have to cause a vacuum before this will work properly. Now it has been explained it is working fine. It would be nice to have a small typed instruction leaflet sent with the item as not everyone is able to go online all the time to check out the instruction video. Does need to go on a very flat surface though to stop the legs coming unhooked.
