I bought an airflo 40+ fly rod with 5 pieces for £100 and on the first day one of the top sections broke. This has cost me £25 under your returns policy plus my postage to you. I phone you and asked for a replacement tip at cost which would be under £20 and this was refused. Replacement tips for expensive rods for £25 may be a good service, but not for a £100 rod which is less than a week old.

Service rating : Superb service. I have placed several large orders with Fishtec over the last few months and i have no complaint. last order was delivered at 9am the following day. You get the odd issue of out of stock items but we should expected this once in a while. When anything has been out of stock Fishtec have always phoned to let me know and they stick to their word on a new delivery date of the item in question. I will continue to use them.Product rating : I like to take the kitchen sink when fishing and this barrow does exactly what it says on the tin! Fishtec were excellent but unfortunately let down badly by Citylink who I personally thought were abismal with their service. They said they tried to deliver 4 times but never left any cards and they said they did. Fishtec did refund and I fully appreciate what they did to help

YYour service was good apart from the delivery company City Link Was not so good.
For items in stock the service is excellent however improvements could be made when dealing with back orders. I have received the same automated letter several times now regarding an item I ordered some months back- each letter states an expected delivery date in a few weeks time however, to date the item has not been shipped. I would recommend that if you cannot guarantee an item will be in stick on a specific date - don't give a date then not deliver the item
