Everything was excellent except the toilets on Gemmy 1 - Toilet seat broken all week and buckets to flush toilet not filled by crew.

While the orgonisation was very good if not a bit too corporate. I was extremly disappointed with the attitude to conservation and the environment. Guides let divers mob wildlife for photographs, ie turtles; didnt pull divers up for touching coral thrashing around to get pictures and hitting coral. Boats were discharging and using cleaning chemicals while moored. The reefs are in poor shape in Marsa Alam and there will be nothing left soon if the diving companies dont get there act together. This was my seventh diving trip to Egypt and very dissapoining, worst ever.
The Port Ghalib guides worked hard to make a variety of diving experiences. In my case the highlights were swimming with a black-tip reef shark, a dugong close-up and a whole family of eagle rays. I'd only seen the latter as solo passers-by.

As always Emperor were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble for any of their staff who are polite and professional at all times. Safety is always a priority and no detail was left to chance, everything is covered. My son and I had a trully memorable weeks diving in Marsa Alam, made possible by the Emperor team. We cannot wait to dive with you again, thank you.

The whole trips was very good! The dive guides on Superior Lily and Adele really made this trip excellent!
Teaching was brilliant - Duncan and Stina both great. Only slight drawback was shuttle buses - one mornng was half an hour late. Apart from that - perfect!

Only comment is that it would be good to do 2 local dives in the morning. Currently there is to much time between dives.

Both Martin and I found the centre at Concorde very helpful and friendly. They went out of there way to advise and help us in planning our week and to accomodate our wishes. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful both on shore, on the boats and in the water. The office staff (so often remote) were very friendly and helpful. The back room boys also did a good job in providing tanks which were filled correctly and they were always available. The site was clean and tidy at all times. Our only criticism is that the slippery tiles need to be replaced. I appreciate that we were warned and some mats were put in place but it remains "an accident waiting to happen"

It was very very good. It was not cheap, but propotion price/quality was excellent. This hilday is only for divers. It is not appropriate for family holiday.

This is the 5th time we have been to Emperor divers in El Gouna, despite a change in Guides most years, which is normal, they again were very friendly & professional, & well organised. we also had a problem with a set of regulators, they lent us a set free of charge, & arranged for ours to be fixed the next day. Excellent dives, especially a dive with dolphins, We will keep in touch with our guide on facebook & share some excellent photos
