Efficient and helpful booking. Very supportive Dive Guides especially Scott who looked after me again after a few months off. Two days fantastic diving
thank you for another excellent dive trip with excellent service as ever and look forward to seeing you again soon
such fun guides, made the days/ dives so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed every day with them! extremely safe and the guys on board went out of their way to help in any way possible!
Emperor Elite: excellent liveaboard with superb food, helpfull and friendly crew
Guides: competent, relaxed; it was great diving with them
Professional, knowledgable, and fun diving school. Would highly recommend.
First rate dive tuition and diving arrangements. Would definitely use again. Excellent instruction from Saad and open and honest advice from Pete. Great diving with you guys.
Friendly, patient and helpful instructors and guides made diving with them feel like diving with friends. Many thanks.
If you want to dive the Red Sea with a team of knowledgeable, safe, helpful and above all FUN divers then I would Highly recommend Emperor Divers Sharm El Sheikh as the company to dive with. Please read on.
I took a group of 12 divers from our club DiveWimbledon and spent a week diving with Emperor Divers Sharm El Sheikh. 2nd to 8th March 2014.
From the outset I was impressed by their customer service. They turned up promptly on day one to collect us and equipment from the Hotel. The check in procedure at the dive centre was straight forward and efficient. We were then taken straight to the boat to begin our diving adventure.
On the boat (Emperor Marcus) our guides/instructors Peter, Roger, Ryan and Scott provided second to none safety and dive briefings with fantastic diagrams and explanations of the dive sites. The dive briefings were detailed enough for both novice and experienced divers but also fun and informative.
Tip, brush up on your Latin if the guide is Peter.
The boat crew were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for either the guides or the boat crew. Lunch on the boat was as good if not better than the food at the Hilton Hotel.
Tip, lunch on the boat includes drinks and cost only a couple of Euros more than drinks only.
The diving was spectacular and relaxed. Some beautiful sites and wrecks.
Every member of our group totally enjoyed the whole experience with Emperor and even the extra charges and supplements were fantastic value for money.
There are no negative points I can think of to mention. Any minor issues were promptly dealt with and settled by our guides so they could not become a negative.
I have dived all over the world and I can say without reservation that Emperor Sharm El Sheikh are one of the best, if not the best I have had the privilege of diving with in respect of safety, fun and value for money.
Fantastic, thanks Emperor.
PADI IDC STAFF Instructor.
All the staff were more than helpful.
This was my second liveaboard with Emperor divers and they did not disapoint. The boat was clean and tidy with plenty of facilities, drinks and snacks. The food was high quality and plentiful. The dive guides where great, informative, enthusiastic and helpfull, the staff were knce again amazing there when ever you need help and very polite. Diving was great and plenty to see, we bad two hickups while one board a member of staff was ill and we had a mechanical problem but bith were dealt with swiftly and every effort was made not to disrupt our diving and we were kept up to date with what was going on. Thankyou for a great week of diving!
Unfortunately this all seemed to go to pot on the last day. We had to wait a long time before aload to get of the boat due to fueling we were told we cojld not get off while we were filling up which is understandable but after 30 mins of looking at a costa coffee and a nice square to explore we reversed up 6 foot a d told to get off.... surely thjs could have been done before we fueled up? We Sked then if we could bave a look arou d thr square where se where told not yet but that our hotel was just over there in walking distance, we were the eve described a good place to eat also within walking distance of the hitely if we did not fancy the free meal at the hotel. After being loaded into the mini bus we were then take a 30 mi s drive away to our hotel. What can I say..... this hotel was not up to emperor standard and to be hi est im amazed they whish to be associated with this establishment. They where clearly understaffed altho polite they were stressed and looked at you as a nuisence when asking for assistance. The room altho clean was in bad repair fixtures hanging of the walls and dodgey electrics, sheets were over used and staind. After looking arou d the site it did not improve, the beach area was awfull and the pool just as bad. Food was substandard and the atmosphere dead. This last night proved to be bad end to great holiday.
This will not stop me from using emperor but ill only do trips where we can stay on the boat for thr last night.
This being my 3rd liveaboard I believe I really don't need to look anywhere else for a liveaboard holiday and this latest trip only served to reassure me that I'm not missing anything.
The guides were really informative, friendly and helpful and the boat crew and cabin staff are truly superb, they even remembered us from last year!
We stayed on Elite for the Safaga itinerary and whilst it's true to say it wasn't all plain sailing (the captain became gravely ill at the wheel in the dead of night and we spent a day or so without a port propeller) everything was handled with true professionalism. We're told, and are delighted to hear, that the captain is recovering and the prop was fixed whilst we were off diving on the last day.
The only negative is that by comparison the final day of the holiday and the hotel we were placed in for our last night was a shambles. Some may have been caused by the prop issue and change of captain but it felt like that once we came back to port that was an end for the communication and briefing. We spent a good hour on the boat looking longingly at the Costa Coffee on the harbour side but were told we couldn't disembark until the boat had finished fueling but we could walk back to the harbour after we had been checked in to our overnight accommodation. The hotel, Rasta Reef turned out to be about 30 miles away and was awfull. Exposed wiring, tatty decoration, poor standards and so few staff available that they had a constantly harassed attitude.
In short, we'll definitely be back with Emperor again, we'd have no problem doing the same itinerary again but we won't do anything that includes being shipped off the boat for the last night due to the awful experience at Rasta Reef.
Very pro and good, Would not consider anyone else :)
I did two half days diving & the thistlegorm trip from sharm and I must say I had a fab time, I cannot fault the service, a special thanks to my guides, Pete, Ryan & Scott also everyone back at the shop, the diving was out of this word, thank you all for a fantastic week. Hopefully back in November so expect a call to book some more dives. Can't wait. Steve.
With shure we will travel again with Emperor. Very nice experience in very safe conditions.
Great staff, great knowledgeable guides, good boats, well happy thanks
The instructors were friendly and patient. Everything was clear and easy to follow. Emperor Divers has something for everyone! If you do not dive, you are still welcome to join the trips. For snorkeling it's great too! I enjoyed my two days with them. It was my first time diving and they made sure I felt comfortable going under water. I will go back for sure!
Best dive center I have dived with so far
Couldn't have been any more professional or fun. !!! Will be back again and again !!! And bringing all my friends with me !!! Thank you for an excellent time Tony Dyson .
Equipement medium Instructors Top
Good organized Dive center with friendly staff. The transfer was every day on time and the Dive Guides made a good job of informing us about the dive sites and the possible hazzards. The Boats crew were forthcoming and helped a lot the divers with the equipment and getting on and off the Boat.
Great Boat Great Crew and Great Guides, will book again without a dought
Everything was excellent! thank you.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
I pre-booked at the last minute and was told that due to pre-existing medical conditions I would need a "Doctors note", something which I have not been asked for before.
As I could not arrange one in the UK prior to my visit to Marsa Alam I was told that Emperor would arrange this for me in resort which they did not. It was down to me.
I booked full equipment but no allowance was made for the equipment I supplied i.e. mask, fins, boots and computer.
I was offered the only large dive suit which was in poor condition: ankle zips broken, holes in suit, and no hood. Other divers on the boat had equipment issues too.
I was dismayed on the first day to be told the Indepths insurance had been increased from 3.5 euro to 5 euro/day.
Why do you have to pay a chamber donation of 7euro when you have insurance?
Why was I charged Environmental Tax at 2 euro/day when I had already paid for a Visa?
I was disappointed by the diving as the marine life seemed in decline.
Having to pay extra for Nitrox was out of order.
On the positive side the boat and crew were excellent as was Mustafa the instructor.
They give safety high priority. Staff is helpful, friendy and relaxed.
