I was happy with the service and the staff. I had a problem with my regulator and they helped me immediately .
We like to dive with you! Thanks a lot for your Services and Support. The Guides are experienced and kompetent. Nice Team in Port Gahlib. We'll come back!
This is the 5th time we have used emperor divers at marsa alam. They prove to be the best dive company I have ever used.they are friendly professional with every dive trip they run. I highly recommend Emperor Divers in Marsa Alam they got my wife qualified as a scuba diver after 9 years of trying. Emperor divers are a goldplus dive company and they have amazing staff that will help you with every aspects of diving from training to just diving.
Great week though delays at start of day were slightly frustrating. Guides did a good job especially the " Taki Man" . Definitely worth the effort to get to Marsa .
The service was very good but the boat day dives were too long for us: long bus drive and waiting time, waiting on the boat after our 2 dives as 3 dives were scheduled and we didn't expect that...
Next time we would rather stay in the hotels where your house reef is located, but we have not been offered that option...
Also may we suggest the use of ecological cleaning product on your liveaboards instead of regular chemical products?
Thank you! :-)
I had a brilliant week which went by so quickly. The diving was great, the briefings detailed and the length of the dives was brilliant. I'm so pleased we weren't dragged back to the boat after 45 minutes or so. Sixteen dives over six days and only two were for less than an hour - one of those being 59 minutes. I especially liked the 83 minute dive!!
Thanks also to the crews of Empress Isa and Empress Amy. As usual, the crew on both boats were friendly, helpful and very safety conscious. The boats were clean, comfortable, well stocked and the food was scrumptious! I'm amazed at what the chef can produce in such a small kitchen
Nothing wrong. Nice people. Obay the rules of diving.
Every Day a local Trip by diving boats from the Port, with wonderful targets.
Excellent guides and boat crews....
it was professional
This is the 4th time we go to Emperor Divers in Marsa Alam (Port Ghalib) and it gets every year better. Excellent boats, in special the Amy.
Correct service and good dive places. Also nice to come back to the Marina Lodge hotel. This is good for drying your divegear the last day.
Delicious barbeque party.
A real winner for diving in Egypte.
Simply the best.
I've dived twice with Emperor Divers in Marsa Alam and on both occasions I've been impressed with the set up.
The dive guides are excellent- always enthusiastic, always helping you to get the best out of each dive - and the boat crews work hard to make your life on board the best it can be.
I'm new to diving and was apprehensive about my first boat dives, but all the crew were supportive and safety conscious, which made my time aboard an unforgettable experience.
I'm happy to recommend the Marsa Alam Emperor crew!!!
Year 10 diving in Egypt and each time I decide to venture outside the comfort of well organised, well structured, well run dive centres I wish I hadn't. So each time I end up back at Emperor the following year.
I have dived with them at most of their Red Sea locations and this year thought I would give Marsa Alam a go.
They moved the house reef and dive centre from Moreen Beach to the Intercontinental Palace Hotel so we moved too and that was a good choice. The hotel is lovely, but that's for the hotel review.
Diving with Emperor is always hassle free. The boats are in good condition and the crews are always really helpful.
The dive guides know their stuff and their reefs.
Yes, sometimes we had big groups on the boat, but we had at least 2 guides and lots of divers who were going "unguided" after the briefing so we were split into smaller groups to kit up-and it worked really well.
The reefs were what you expect in the Red Sea... Very pretty, full of life, with lots to see.
So with good centres, top guides and wicked diving, you might expect to pay a bit more-yeah we probably did, but with Emperor you know what you get, and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and I don't mind paying a bit extra to get a bit more.
Overall, a top holiday, already planning which Emperor base to go to next year.
Amazing staff, really competent and smiley. Thank you for making my first diving experience so unforgettable!
Once again, Emperor Divers excelled in every aspect of their service. Excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you, supreme dive sites and full consideration given to the health, safety and enjoyment of all their customers (whether a returning diver like my husband and I, or simply a snorkeler). The new house reef is pristine and the day boats comfortable (offering delicious lunch and drinks). All I can say is that we have had another amazing holiday, met some wonderful people and have made some fantastic new friends. It's always sad to leave, but one thing is for certain - we will be back!
It has been a really good trip. The only thing that was not good was that the transfer form Marsa alam to Hurghada Airport.
Not that we did not get the transport, however we never received information to the hotel reception as promised. Afterwards i did see an email, but since i haven't had the possibility to check my email. I was in the lobby by pure luck when the driver arrived looking for us.
Generally well organised and safe. A bit of a difference when it comes to guides the Egyptian guides went the extra to get the most out of dives. I would like to see clear statement to guests on minimising impact on the reefs they visit. Photographer's in particular can be lax to get their all important image. That said I had an excellent experience in both Marsa Alam and Hamata.
Guides Ferret and Vodka very good and know the dive sites and give info. Guide on last day (different boat), didn't say who he was and wasn't informative. He didn't even notice that one of the divers had problems during the dive and another diver had to help him recover his cylinder, which had come out from the BCG.
With regards to trips. Far too much time spent in bus after our pick up going up and down the Resta Reef looking for missing people. Could be on bus 15 minutes there before driving on to port. This was even worse on the bus to Abu Dabab, nearly 45 minutes before leaving the port to pick up from hotels on route to site and we never even got off the bus in that time - why was so long spent going no where! Too much time on boat hanging around waiting for the next dive. Well past time required to safely start the next dive, especially as many on same site. We felt that we could have been easily back at the hotel by mid afternoon at the latest on many days diving. Hanging around a boat waiting was very boring. Advertising that certain dive site is a must to see the dugongs, Ferret said that she'd never see one there since she'd been diving there. Apparently might have more of a chance if go early. We didn't get there till late morning so what is the point of that! Another site we might have seen one but again you have to go early. Why were these trips arranged so late in arriving at sites if it's known that you should be early. I think we might have got to one early but the speed of the boat was on dead slow - probably saves money that way. Actually on dead slow every dive. Would have to think twice before using Emperors at Marsa Alam again. Have not recommended them to others at our dive club when asked. I left it this long as didn't want to respond quickly as was so annoyed by our trips but don't feel any better now! They need to sort out transport times, shorten waiting time on boat between dives and arrange visiting times at sites to that when easily disturbed creatures are more likely to be around, not when you know they've already moved on! Or stop advertising that they are there altogether.
Really enjoyed my three days diving in Marsa Alam, excellent guiding and lunch on the boat was great, only downside were the transfers around Port Ghalib which added extra time to a long day
We have dived with Emperor Divers on many occasions now and always find them to be organised and willing to accommodate our wishes.
We had a great week on Emperor Marcus; good food, helpful crew who adapt to your needs rather than try to do everything. (I am an independent female who takes responsibility for my own gear and never appreciate the "too helpful, interfering" versions of help.) The guys got it just right.
Watching the Captain's boat handling made me appreciate how he protects the divers from other boats while they are in the water
Pete was an excellent dive guide and good company. I enjoyed your briefing on the Thistlegorm as I had not fully understood the strategic background to it. Hope you enjoyed your birthday!
Thanks to Chris for looking after our snorkelers and try divers.
We have dived with Emperor divers in Marsa Alam for the second time and they are the best. We have dived with a few other companies in Egypt over the last few years but none of them compare to Emperor. They make you feel like your part of one big happy family. All the staff are amazing and helpful. You feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble. The boats are lovely and their health and safety is of a very high standard. We have met some wonderful people and made some great friends. Can't wait to see the team in Marsa again.
We dived with Emperor Divers Marsa Alam - Port Ghalib located in hotel Continental. We had a good experience with them, also on te boat (Amy and Rachel) everthing was ok and the crew onboard of these vessels was very helpfull.
high standards from boats to safety to guides, only dissapointment was told we could not go to Abu Dabab as only 3 people wanted to go, i then found out only 3 went to elphinstone.
I personally had a good time and enjoyed the excellent food on the boats and the high standards of personnel who made sure everyone was safe even though we had some num skulls diving with us this week
Service from the staff was courteous and professional as always.
The only reason this isn't excellent was a persistent issue with the Nitrox fills; almost all of the tanks I used during the week were at 180 Bar. This issue was raised at the time, but hadn't been resolved by the end of the week.
