I had a lot of trouble checking out because Designers Guild is out of the country for me (I am in the U.S.). First my bank declined the transaction due to fraudulent activity. This was not apparent from the error message on the Designers Guild website as I was attempting to check out, so it took me quite a while to realize why the transaction could not be completed. Then, even after I figured it out and called my bank to allow the transaction to process, my bank continued to freeze my account. It took several calls to the bank to resolve. On top of all that, my bank charged me a fee for purchasing from an international seller. I understand most of this is out of the control of Designers Guild, but the difficulty in checking out and extra fees will dissuade me from future purchase with them.
