I was really disappointed. I own about 8 Corset.au corsets and have always found them a great company with great communication and customer service and very high quality products that aren't going to bend out of shape in the first week. That's why I was so disappointed with this last purchase. After looking at 50 odd corsets on the corsets.au website it's hard to remember which were in the 3 for 2 sale and which weren't as there's no specific area to click on and view only these 3 for 2 sale items. I purchased (I think it was the white one) for maybe $120 which was basically full price, but with $5 off. Having a black sign that says "not in sale" reeeeeeally doesn't stand out visually on a website where most of the fonts are black on white. I clicked back and forwards through all the corsets I liked, and in the end, I bought 4 thinking that at least 3 of them were in the sale. When I realized they weren't and emailed into the customer service I was told in very short terms that no, they weren't in the sale, so nothing could be done, even though I pointed out that I'd bought at least one of the corsets from the sale, which I thought should mean that if I bought an additional corset from the sale (making it 5 recent purchases from the store) that I would be eligible for a free one. I really didn't appreciate the cold, frank, unhelpful response that said no I wasn't eligible and there was nothing she was going to do about it. Not even enquire further, let alone give me a chance to show how many corsets I have bought for this store and maybe work something out. My steampunk friends in Wellington all use this store, as to my LARP and theatre friends in Wellington and Auckland and we have always spent a lot of money at corsets.au. But this isn't the only supplier out there and I have a right mind to tell my friends to go elsewhere next time if Corsets.au aren't actually interested in us customers at all, but only interested in making sure we spend as much money as possible and aren't taken care of as returning customers. Once an order has been placed, we are unfortunately unable to alter it in any way. If you had ordered two items that were included in the offer, we would then have been more than happy to allow you to add your free item to the order but as there was only one item from the offer this wasn't possible. We try to make promotions as clear as possible and each item is listed with a banner at the top stating whether it is included. The order total should have appeared before you paid which should have indicated whether a discount had been made.
